Thank you for ALL the videos you do ! I started with the Joy 2 years ago and now have all 3 of Cricut cutting machines, I love them ! Your videos have helped me every step in the HUGE learning curve and I appreciate it so much !
I am trying to figure out how to write a word then cut the word out as an offset of 1/8 to 1/4 inch WITHOUT adding a color to the offset. I just want to cut around the words as one design with a 1/4 inch border. Is this covered in your manual?
If you are referring to my book, The Cricut Coach Playbook is a quick reference tool on how to use the common functions of Design Space, it takes you step by step on all functions on Design Space and has pictures and diagrams for each step on all platforms (Mac, PC, iPad, Android).
Jennifer. Thank you for your videos. I have had my Maker3 for a year. I do cardstock products. My issue is choosing designs especially sentiments Ones to cut not draw and some of them will have not just words but images as well. for the inside of my cards. Problem is the designs in DS are not specifying if it is for cardstock or vinyl. My issue is the designs are usually needed smaller and then my machine doesnt seem to be able to cut clean some of the design may cut and others it doesnt. Do you have any tips? It is so frustrating I know some designs if they are detailed they might not cut well when you reduce the size. How do I know which ones will? Is it always trial and error? Please help
Most designs can be used for card stock and vinyl depending on what you want to do with it. We have a blog post that might help you troubleshoot here: jennifermaker.com/cricut-cutting-problems-tips-cleaner-cuts/
@@JenniferMaker, does Bearly Art glue work well with metallic cardstock? If not, what alternatives have you found effective for bonding different textured papers together? When do you recommend using Tacky Glue?

They are not always available and can sell out quickly. You can be notified when they come out if you are interested. 😊 jennifermaker.com/cricut-mystery-box/
Jennifer, with the new version of DS it has different bounding boxes - you can move in and out but you can’t go up and down so everything stays square unless you go to the top and change the size - am I missing something or is this how it is done?
I was trying to weed something yesterday and I was really having a problem. Is the Bright Pad REALLY worth the money? I tried to use a regular light pad and it didn't help at all. Maybe it wasn't bright enough.
Hi, thought I'd jump in here to add my thoughts... Like you, I questioned the value of Cricut's light pad as I had another light pad I used and it really didn't do enough to help my old eyes. My daughter bought a Bright Pad for me and it made such a difference! It really was hard to believe just how much of a difference it actually has made for me. Additionally, I saw Jennifer Maker mentioned using a small dusting of baby powder to help define the edges of a cut project before weeding and have yet to employ this technique but look forward to using it🤓
Thank you for the again nice project (video) It is a pitty that the rubbers on my cricut maker from only one year broke down and CRICUT doesn't have replacement for them. So a kind a new machine useless sitting on my desk. And CRICUT awaiting for me to buy one again. NOT happy at all.

Jennifer, what glue do you recommend that works best for gluing multiple layers of paper/card stock onto each other?
Bearly Art glue works great!

Yes, it is!
Jennifer, Cricut is not selling Mystery Boxes. Went on there website and not showing them.
Do you know why?

Go up to the top and unlock by clicking on the padlock, then you can resize in any direction

hello, jennifer
i ask you? this problem, Cricut maker can't change material size 12 in X 12. how change it?
The maximum cutting area on a 12” x 12” mat is 11.5” x 11.5”.
@@JenniferMaker thank you, Jennifer
Happy 4th of July ya'll
Same to you! 😃❤️
When I click on make it, it does not give me material options. What am I doing wrong?
Check your machine selection and the layers panel. If there are any caution symbols, hover of them for further instructions. Thanks for watching! 😊🌻
An you use invisible ink on bath towels
You would need polyester towels🥰
