I genuinely wonder if the new market trend for developers in the future will be to release paid live-service games, let them build up a base, test things out, and then switch to F2P and hope that increases revenue and player count.
I'd been playing Fall Guys since it launched but once it went F2P it felt like the cosmetics got worse and the trade off really wasn't worth it; I dropped it pretty quick. It's a delightful game, but I don't think live-service was the way to go.
We're never getting Nintendo-themed items, are we?

I constantly get an error message / crash on my switch for fall guys then they eventually fix it and it’ll happen again in a couple months for who knows how long unable to even open the game

The game still has hope. Most of the actual developers of the code are still working at fall guys, and they released the rolling fall guy powerup recently.
As far as i know, I have had Fall Guys since it first released on Nintendo, maybe this is just a update, Idk

They need to actually update this game again. Custom levels are cool but they can’t replace fun and unique ideas from prior seasons. Also there’s hardly any collabs anymore too. I don’t see mediatonic doing anything else so update your damn game

@@valexcxIt's just the slow updates and long seasons that made it get boring and repetitive, and that fact that it still doesn't have mobile support to this day, not saying it's devs fault, but I genuinely can't believe Stumble Guys did something Fall guys couldn't

1. Slow update schedule
2. Overpriced microtransactions
3. Epic laying off most of the Fall Guys staff
and
4. Stumble Guys' existence
Wake me up when Nintendo announces DK Country remastered collection for the Switch using the Tropical Freeze inhouse engine or F-Zero remastered going for a Wipeout look!

You see the thing is, fall guys chose quantity over quality which is why i dont play this game anymore, the new levels/maps are just to blocky and hard to move around. So im sorry fall guys but im gonna have to pass on that 😢(unless you bring fall guys to mobile)

This one is a terrible Switch port, the game runs at like 15fps, uninstalled after 5 minutes
