We were at a second hand store the other day here in Southern California and I found myself looking at a pile of dish ware ! I caught myself and said what am I doing ? Clearly been watching too much chateau diaries 😂

Versitable shrub, can grow 8+ ft. Can be trained into a tree topiary or let spill down a wall or pot. Grows great here in coastal Texas.
It grows wild here in my country. I've always loved the colour, and our local butterflies love them. I live in South Africa.
Maybe Galahad could have a mini yard for himself, if a smaller area could be enclosed for a dedicated dog run. Thanks for continuing to share.

Did you ever see their place in the UK? I think it was in Suffolk like most of the family. Stephanie was there around a Christmas time and the house was amazing. I don't know what Uncle Stephen did as a working man but both he and Chantal were listed as directors of Oak Tree Barns along with Amaury. The house was a testament to Amaury's craftsmanship as a Carpenter. I'd like to think his Father or brother have the same brilliant talents. / G x

this is why I love Europe. They don't destroy their old buildings but restore and use them as shops or homes and the narrow streets make it cozy and walkable without cars.
It's a shame Ollie and Camilla don't vlog much any more, they made some good ones.
They took the summer off to be with their kids. The permits to work on the house are slow to come in.

That first brocante you two visited had an Alabama license plate on the wall from my little county here in the northeast of AL (Calhoun County)! I was shocked to see something so familiar in the south of France and had to rewind it 😆

Oh Beziers, my nearest large town, a lovely 30 minute drive down from the Espinousse foothills and the Orb River. The flower market in that Avenue is magical, I never saw so many peonies. Pezenas is the place for handbags! My spirit home is the shop Tout Ce Qui Brille (Everything Shiny) 🤣🤣🤣🤣The pretty blue shrub/climber is plumbago. Very hardy.

What a wonderful idea to create a little enclosed garden area for Galahad! Filled with lots of interesting plants and hidden corners for him to enjoy. If chickens can have their palace, then Galahad should have his own private garden :)
The blue flowered creeper is called plumbago...one of the true blue-flowered plants, rare enough to find and hardy to fairly extreme conditions

Plumbago is the gorgeous blue flowers. I have them in pots where I live in Southern Illinois, USA. A favorite plant.

Stephanie, The blue flowering plant is called Plumbago Auriculata Flower. You can also buy them from seed.

The purple blue climber is plumbago. Needs a lot of water, but flowers all year round in warm climates. Makes a fantastic hedge, wall climber or ground cover.

What a lovely location, the house is beautiful. I can see that staircase with a twinkling garland at Christmas. Loved the tile shop, I really liked the plain tiles with the contrast border. Lovely to see more of your Aunt & Uncle, they had such a fleeting visit to LaLande, when are they coming to stay next?. Galahad is such a sweetie, I cannot get over how tiny he is, still he does not take up much room in bed.
