It just gave logic. Joey was influenced by Dave Lombardo, Jason Newsted from And Justice For all and the tribal sounds and original lines of Igor Cavallera, Eloy in metal is the result of the influences of Dave Lombardo, Jason Newsted, obviously Igor Cavallera , and Joey himself. That's why Eloy fits Slipknot so well as custom clothing and measurements. Eloy in his other installment was a student of Aquiles Priester, and Aquiles was a student of Kiko Freitas, and Kiko Freitas was a student of Dave Weckl.....has a lineage.

Almost anyone can learn to play cover songs if they practice enough. The true attest of time will be if Eloy match the genius of Joey Jordison when he will create the drum parts for the upcoming album(s). Finally I feel some excitement for Slipknot again. Love it!!!!

Joey is Dead. The band has the right to continue. And this does not cancel ELoy. Logically if you want merits, give all them to SEPULTURA CAVALERA, CHAOS AD and ROOTS albums. Joey got almost everything from there. Igor Cavalera.
