@stretch141000 Yeah, but Parsons had almost ten times the number of tackles then Chop. That means he has a better motor and is a far better tackler. I'm sorry his numbers don't scream first rounder to me. Lots of guys have elite measurables. Doesn't necessarily make them great football players. I hope he proves me wrong, but I'm not holding my breath. Showing massive improvement and growth he needs to show to justify this pick, and at the highest level, is tough to do and many before him fell short. Time will tell. I'll root for him 100% either way, but not how I would have gone.

Why would he be jumping for joy when they possibly drafted his replacement? Think about it, if Chop doesn't play impactful and meaningful snaps this year and become a starter by next year, this pick was a wasted pick with other day one starters still on the board. You draft first round picks to be studs and starters, not to be rotational guys.

@@zd9910 The reason for his comp to Parsons is because they played at the same school and play the same position and are both athletic. But his numbers dont even compare to Parsons Parsons has almost as many tackles in one game than Chop did in his entire season. And if you actually check Chops numbers, they mostly declined in his third season which is a major red flag for a developmental 1st round DE. Nice kid, but terrible pick with the top ranked IOL on the board which was a bigger need.
