Mel Kiper Jr. on Chop Robinson:
“Chop Robinson (21) has elite upside if he can reach his ceiling, but when you turn on his Penn State tape, you wonder why he didn't dominate. He had just four sacks last season. If I were running this team, I would have taken tweener defensive end/tackle Darius Robinson or center Graham Barton instead.”
ESPN Draft analyst Mel Kiper on the Dolphins drafting Patrick Paul:
“Patrick Paul (55) is a selection for the future -- he played left tackle in college and could replace Terron Armstead there down the line. But I'm not sure he's ready to start as a rookie for a team that really had to get instant-impact players.”

“I had Mohamed Kamara (158) at No. 67 overall in my rankings, so this is a fantastic pick. He had 13 sacks last season. GM Chris Grier tried to hit his void at wideout with Malik Washington (184) and Tahj Washington (241) on Day 3; Malik is the guy to watch, as he had 110 catches last season.”

I knew that guy was a dawg when I watched him play Colorado early in the season when Colorado had all the hype still. Kamara has a true LB mentality. The guy LOVES the game. He’s a stud. I’d be happy if my team had drafted him.

The Paul pick was fantastic. Best pick of the draft. He will be mentored and taught by Armstead. Paul has the intangibles to make it work. He just needs good coaching

Right after the draft over y'all asked for A's and B's and C's and all that we need to always wait till after the draft is over where we can look at the players and see who's what I gave him a c minus on the first guy but now I get my A+ on my total draft
Dominant O-Line tops the list without them and depth none of it will make that big a difference. They go thru this every years and still don’t draft enough .
I was heartbroken with no Barton
Listening to Paul at his interview after the draft. He's got a high IQ, very smart and intelligent. And a freakish body for an offensive lineman I think he's going to learn to be great. If and when they are injuries this guy at the end of the year will be the starter.
Not sure he's grown into his body which is beyond SCARY ; )

Wasn’t completely surprised Grier didn’t take an OG or C. The highest he has ever taken was R Hunt and that was in the third round. That backfired when he took Eichenberg over Creed Humphrey in the second round a few years ago and he has become a very good center for KC

The ceiling for Chop is Parsons,.Had eerily similar Combine,.
Reaching for an interior Lineman at #21 would have been a Mistake without drafting Back,.
Plus,.We needed a guy to take the Van Ginkel Role which Chop has the skills to cover and play inside LB~
Chop is going to learn from the coaching and Chubb, he is better than our edge rushers we had in playoffs if he starts 5 games he will have lots of QB pressures and 4 sacks

Things that bother me:
1. My daddy taught me to NEVER trust anyone with two first names for a name. I would have never taken that particular OT.
2. Do we really need another slot receiver? Is Braxton Berrios washed up at 28? Is he still on the team?
Berrios is a good special teamer but not a solid WR if you ask me. I love Malik for the slot

When I heard that Jaylen Wright was one of if not the best pass pro blocking running back in all of college football then I understood why Miami felt comfortable to move up and give up a future 3rd round pick for him.
Not a fan of the clickbait with the incorrect draft grade scoring by Mel Kiper vs. the actual grading. Otherwise, looking forward to the upcoming season.
What did kiper give for Miami? B
Sports IIIustraded had Jaylen Wright Ranked #71 in this draft and the second best RB in all the draft!! A player ranked at 71 and got him at pick 120 !!! You don't get much better value for that ! For a 3rd round pick it's a steal just as Devon Achane was a steal in the 3rd round ! We have a 1, 2, 3, PUNCH 👊 That's going to be insane with Mostert , Achane. Wright!!!! Fastest RB room in NFL history !!!!
Aside from '22 Jackson has only missed five games in his career. I know we want all our guys to play every game. But that's just not going to happen in a game as physical as football.

How many games did Austin Jackson miss in 2023?
Miami rarely hits on their DE draft picks. They seem to reach every time and the players do not pan out long term. If Philips and Chubb are healthy they don't need Robinson and it's a wasted pick. Typical Dolphins Love the Wright pick but where does he fit the roster? Do you really think a 5/6 round WR is better than the current roster? I doubt it.

how the hell can you get a ytbing better than a C of you don't address your biggest need and weakest link at all? our O-Line sucked last year and full of injuries/inconsistencies, we lost Hunt and got a lot worse for it and still did not address it at all in the draft. there's no way you can grade higher than a C under those circumstances

Way to high. The grade is a C -. We didn't get the best we could get at the position we needed. Plus trade up for a RB. Not necessary. Two average WRs don't see the point. Will any of these guys even start. I think these picks add depth but they do not stand out

I think the draft is average. Every pick is a rotation player - at best. Nobody you pencil in as a starter. How is it every other team seems to be able to draft starters but Miami? That is the same answer as why Miami can't win a playoff game. THEY CAN'T DRAFT.
