What do you think? I think Epi sounds thicker and better with mean riffing...but PRS has a bit more clarity and fits soloing better. Also, to me, PRS is easier to play...NOTE: resistances should be kΩ instead of Ω.
This is a very good side by side comparison. I had to go back to your previous video on the PRS SE Custom sound demo to hear just a bit more. I did try out a PRS Custom 24 in a shop after your video and I was very impressed with it. The PRS certainly is brighter, but I do like the warmer sound from the Epiphone. I think that's the reason why I've not bought this PRS guitar yet, as I like the thicker, warmer sound of the Epi. I love the feel and looks of the PRS, but when it comes to sound, it's the Epiphone.

The PRS is worth the extra $50, just for the look of it. Both offer great build quality and good tones. What about the weight differences?
PRS does look better. Epiphone is slightly heavier. Difference is not huge. But biggest difference is how much more comfortable PRS is to play. At least for me it's a better fit in terms of feel. Thanks for commenting man!
The problem is a matter of taste. I sold the PRS Custom and bought just such an Epiphone. I agree that there is no more comfortable guitar than the PRS and it sounds really beautiful, but in my opinion the Les Paul looks much better🤘
