Zieten was never bad
The only way i get decent games in the Zieten is with a Secondary Build. I can't ever get those Main Guns to behave.
Same here those guns aim leaves u questioning at times

Really?? Interesting. I run full secondary heal build on Zieten and Ruprecht and still get amazing accuracy out of the main guns on both ships.

Only thing "bad" about this ship is the slightly akward turret layout and the positioning of the 150s. You only get 3 150s when driving forward. Rear ones only start engaging when practically broadside. Bismarck gets alot more access to her full secondary battery.if you know what you are doing, the armor is respectable.
Sharnhorst is actually a pretty solid design. They're a little low on buoyancy, making them pretty wet ships, but they're far better designs than Bismarck. They also needed some more deck armor, but for a first-try at a battleship they're solid
Heinrich is probably my favorite ship in the game but somehow i still dont want to buy zieten lol
The Zieten looks like a big sexy beast
I'd say its by far one of the worst t8 bbs.. the guns literally cant hit anything at 6km and secondaries cant beat decent main guns
The secondaries on Zeiten suck hard. Barely any guns and they shoot slowly.
And the turret positioning is ultra bad.
Also it's the ugliest ship in the game.
I haven't managed to get the Zeiten for myself yet, as I struggled so much with the Heinrich that it put me off the line for a while. I might try to pick the Zeiten up at some point, though I'm currently trying to grind for the new French cruisers and German DDs.
That said, I'm loving these musical intros. Really nice touch. You think you might implement it with your "Meet the (Blank)" series as well?

You be right this ship and many others in the tech tree a good amount of premium ships were not made. And for two reasons one is as you said building capacity, but the big reason was Hitler started the war early it was planed for 1947.
In 1939 the Kriegsmarine was yet ready it was still rebuilding it was not even back to its WW1 size at lest for suface ships, remember after WW1Germany lost a lot of ships. If WW2 started in 1947 Plan Z what was the name for the rearming would have given Germany Battleships 10, Battlecruisers 3, Aircraft carriers 4, Panzerschiffe 15 Heavy cruisers 5, Light cruisers 13, Scout cruisers 22, Destroyers 68 Torpedo boats 90 Total 230 suface ships.

In ww1 they did have a navy but they had thier butt handed to them by the British navy. So they understood that they stood no chance against them.
I personally love this ship. Loads of fun to level. I never understood the hate, just gotta angle.
Zieten is fun with an accuracy build keeps you from Yolo rushing and can put up some solid numbers....and if a DD gets spotted secondaries can melt them. Should you meme build it well there's fun to be had there too watching cruisers melt as you stay out of torpedo range lol.

Germany had very little natural resources like steel. Thats why they invaded the countries they did 1st to gain acess to those resources. And Hitler was obsessed with unnecessarily large weapons. I think it was the tiger or panzers tanks. That were to big for the transmissions to handle full speed. So they could only go at about half speed. The usa ability to mass produce tanks. And other weapons is was one of the main driving force on winning the war

Zieten was never bad lol its strong imo it's secondaries are deadlyyy and it's reload is good to make up for it's only 3 guns and it's C turret has amazing angles and no offense but it's armour isn't bad just because you're rushing a bit more than most and get yourself in crossfires or bow tank which isn't good because 25 or 27 mm upper bow and then you die it's not a bad ship just play it correctly
That 360 rear gun can fire with only 20 degree angling which is great for switching targets. 22 second reload is great for he spam

I either have an excellent game in this ship or a terrible game no in betweens.this one was definitely a grind and I am glad I don’t have to play it anymore.

Only ship i get rewarded playing stupid. Say yolo with that full secondary build and walk away with 1 or 2 caps with 2-4 kills and 150-200k damage. Its plain dumb fun
its one of my favorites. it works well in Ranked
I do best when people just don't see me as a threat, and just focus my more dangerous teammates.
So whenever i do reasonably okay it more feels like i was just getting a good game, compared to it just being a good ship. Because with any other ship I would've performed better.
Still fun tho imo
Germany had a lack of resources for ship building, tanks aircraft and missiles and rockets sucked up iron like a hover. I like the Zieten and use it daily.
I’ve had a few dozen 100k games myself in that ship do I like it at best 50/50 tops other then that I can’t really say much about it

Zieten was pretty annoying for me. It definitely is just a taste of what’s next (Prinz Rupprecht, which is really good)
Also all the German battlecruisers were built except for Heinrich, Rupprecht and Schlieffen, which we’re either planned or fantasy ships.

Zeiten is a good kiting battle cruiser. It has decent overmatch, torps exist, and the secondaries are good. Hide in a smoke circle and chew destroyers and light cruisers with the secondaries. It's a cool ship. Definitely not my favorite.
I like the zeiten to be honest. Hate I have to start over on xbox with this game on tech tree for German ships.

I noticed that you don't lock the secondary sight on a specific ship, is there any special reason for this? Normally when there are 2 nearby ships taking damage from the secondary in one side, I usually order the secondary to be locked on the ship that has the lowest HP to destroy it faster.
What button do you press to focus secondaries for the console.
I do sometimes usually when there's a Destroyer or a low health ship
@@spartacus2650 In the case of the PS5 it's R1 + X or Triangle, as I haven't played in several weeks I forgot... But the settings change depending on the control preset you use... It's also good to switch off strategically so as not to be seen in the smoke, depending on the situation, I already turned off the secondary with the Veneto to stay in defense and escape by repositioning myself, because I was almost sinking!

I like the Zieten, think it's fun to play. I agree, much more accurate guns than the main BB line.
the tier 7, tier 8 and legendary tier German Battlecruiser aen't real ships but Aegir is a real Battle cruiser a part of the P-class Battle cruisers

@@SpartanElite43 mixed bag, because of its citadel just that extra open to torp if you over swing by just a bit too much you get clapped so hard or HE will knock out torps on one side just as your coming out to torp eat a full Salvo then try to flip the ship around to other side to save thr torp and get smashed from a different direction. Love the t6 and the t8 in that line I mostly play German bbs just can't with this one.
