Yep! I think your spot on! Santa might just be bringing me a pair! Yeah all on Zman soft plastics! I tend to have three option’s ready to go, a brighter option a darker option and something that has either been working well for me lately or something that matches bait in the area if I can see any. So usually something silver.
@jaseclements981 hey mate, I usually try to fish as light as I can, but you still want to be heavy enough to find the bottom. My most common sizes are 1/12, 1/8, 1/6 and 1/4. These fish are just of the wall. I fish the beach side as there’s usually less current. The lighter the jighead the better the lure will swim but the most important thing is getting down to the bottom where those fish will be! Hope this helps!
Some good action there mate. A set of boga grips might have saved the day! All on soft plastics right?

@@outdoors_aus3607 wow thanks for the tips. Might see you down there one day and I'll boga grip your 2.8m
By the way, have you tried trickeys soft plastics? Amazing action. The silver fleck looks dynamite in clear water.
@@outdoors_aus3607what size jigheads do you use? Do you catch them often off the rock wall
