Road trip time, had a chance to head up to the Sunshine Coast and get some Fishing time in. Beautiful day catching some fish, a little slow but worth the trip.
Another good video guys, I have been watching them early in the morning lately when it's quiet! Once the kids are up I can't hear the TV! This area at Mooloolaba is one my local spots, but I never catch anything good here! I gave it another try after seeing this video and gave up after getting multiple snags! That's how it usually plays out for me here! A few under-sized Bream and that's it! I don't recall the last time I got something legal there!

@@fishingwarriorz I gave this spot a try yesterday. With huge swells on the beaches and dirty water and debris at other spots I thought up around the mouth might be the go! I was in the exact same spot as you guys, I recognised the ugly 2 story orange brick house in the background! Not too many spots where you can just reverse in, pop the back up for some shade and literally fish from the back of your car without even having to unpack all the gear! But once again, snags and lost my rig on 2 rods! I did have 2 solid bites that I lost on the way in. Then had a 3rd that just smashed my new Alvey combo, pulled it straight down, out of the rod holder and started dragging it down the rocks. Grabbed it and it was a big, whatever it was. Snapped me off in about 10 seconds, and i had 12lb leader and 4kg line on! Might have been a big bream or something? But now I am keen to go back as I know there are some good ones there! Might bring the kids this time with that nice playground right there! Thanks for the videos, watching more as I type!
@@conwaylewis2300 oh cool👍. It’s good when u can feel excited about whats out there, especially getting broken off gets the adrenalin going lol 🤣. Lucky you didnt loose your gear in the water 😬. On the other side of the waterway near the marina through that nice parkland, Col caught a Trev over there too, that was in one of our earlier vids, never know whats running through there 👌. Way too much boat traffic there its like Noosa area too many boats and people need a quiet spot without traffic for good fishing on the sunshine coast i am still lookin for such fishing areas myself . Hoping for at least one good quiet fishing hole to be found somewhere .
No just decided on a day trip, bit of lunch in the park and didnt really know where we would end up or how busy it would be. Maybe one day we could do that 👍😁
