Got the mongoose today fr.these guys, had to tighten the slipper a bit but great car for the price, track on Sat and see how it goes. (Savox servo replaced, not the best in it)
Got the Storm BL in the mail today. My first ever RC and first-ever time using or owning a LiPo. I hear with proper measures they are quite safe but I'm still paranoid and DO NOT want to burn my house down. I have an HD brand LiPo bag that I charge and plan to store the battery in. Is the LiPo bag enough? I'm thinking about maybe getting a larger bag/box to have the LiPo bag inside of. Also is storing the battery at full charge safe? I plan on getting more batteries for more fun and a better charger when I get the money for it and I heard better chargers can specify a storage voltage of 3.8v which this charger doesn't have, understandably at this price point but does that make this less safe? Just wondering for safety's sake, absolutely love the product its amazing.
That's the receiver's binding lead - it is used to put the receiver into "bind mode" should you ever need to replace it or the transmitter. We have a "Hot To Bind" video here on the channel :-)
Hi not sure whether you can assist ,just wanted to find out on the hsp 1/10 truck why does the body shell covers the front bumper, can it be adjusted thank you
Hi Andrew, thanks for your comment. I can't say we have many issues with either the 4WD or 2WD HSP models, not binding. Have you experienced some trouble with them?
@@HobbiesDirect I thing we're on another page here. I'm talking about the wheels binding when you do the wheel nuts up too tight like stated in this video. However by your comment I feel now your taking about the radio not binding
@@druscanam haha yes, I think we are on different pages 😂 I agree, the wheels on the HSP 4WD models seem to bind to the hub easier than the 2WD, you can easily fix that issue by getting aluminium wheels hexes.
I have the MT and SCT.. Great truck's!
Cool vid and very helpful! got a HSP brushless bronto and just bought one of these from Oz last week to the UK so quietly excited

Is it possible to slow down this rc car or set top speed to certain speed for younger children to learn?
What's the looped black wire packaged with the antenna tube for?

The binding issue seems to be common on the 1/10 4WD HSP range.
Although these 2WD models don't seem to have this problem.
