Wish Red Apple would open up the green space in the meantime, for folks to enjoy the space. If even to sit and read, or people watch. Or to spread a blanket out for a picnic. But as it sits - yes, it looks nice (used in the video), but it's all gated up.
I actually wondered if the 400 block was going to be a "Central Park", but I now I have some idea. It would be nice to see a multiplex (hotel/residential-upper w/shop on the lower) on the 400 Block. "Shops @ 400", or just "400" are a couple of names to consider. Also this is the 1st time hearing about the Trop Redevelopment! Good to see progress.
Parking is ridiculous downtown as it is. More parking tickets to write I guess. Also wish there was concentration outside of "downtown" Want to discuss eye soars? How about blocking off that horrendous looking recycling mountain of garbage on 275 by 22nd Ave. That thing blows garbage all over the place and it smells! I cannot believe it sits like it does. The most horrible view if you want to talk about eye soars as well as all the dead palm trees on 275 from that plant south. I think they over spray the weed kill and killing all the palms. Looks horrible. How about more lush landscaping along 275 and de-mold all the over passes.
