Sand is a natural brake Keeping your speed up is the most importance to riding in it and ABSOLUTELY DO NOT let off the throttle in turns or you'll be down on the sand quicker then you can say OH SHIT 🤣 It's so damn cool to coming into and all throughout the turns WFO BAAHRAAAP 😎💪👍
Can you make a t-shirt design with a TW going sideways and a caption that reads "ooooWWOOooo!!!"? I'd wear the hell out of that, lol. Excellent ride. It's so cool to see the difference a tire can make on trails like that. Sand is the ultimate test, and that was some Dakar grade stuff. Cheers buddy.
Your insurance company is full of shit. A DOT approved tire is just that. Approved. There's no way of telling what bike it's meant for. I run a car tire on my goldwing. Nothing my insurance can say. It's DOT approved.
Might depend on the insurance company. This could be BS but I heard about someone with a car tire on a goldwing who got in an accident and their insurance wouldn't over them, claiming the non round tire changed the bikes handling characteristics and played a role in the crash.
Can someone explain to a non-off-road rider? What were the results of the comparison? I'd assume the fat tire, but since this was presented as a verses, I'm questioning it. 🤔

I took my motorcycle safety course and exam on a Tw200 ,fun little bike!
I almost did too! Took the XT 250 instead though lol

Dood that's crazy. I had a TW and a Sherpa at the same time as well. I sold them some time ago and do miss them!
Great times on the tw 200 , Jerry the off-road machine did very well !!
Jerry "that's embarrassing"😂 got dusted by 2 strokes on my drz400 on that side of the park last time I rode there
Haha yeah they really go hard there, would like to try it on a two stroke sometime.
Just be thankful that I wasn't in front of you on my 87 CR- 500 😱😵🤣
Love it!
Looks like you guys should get dedicated dirt only bikes. Those guys were flying along.
Haha yeah probably, I've been looking a little.
I live out in the sand, about to just give up on dirt-biking, but getting a TW is tempting
The Tdub made me a lazy rider. I just added a KLX300 to my stable, and I feel like I'm learning to ride again lol. Still more smiles on the Tdub.
Haha yeah it's definitely not incredibly exciting to ride but it sure is fun!

Why tf would you want to run a car tire..?
Nice to see the t-dub again. I'm still on stock tires.
Man that place looks fun. ✌️
the problem with your k257d is that it was the 6ply version, mine is the 4 play and is less than half the weight of the 6ply...

No motorcycle insurance in Florida I have it though but would not if they mandated certain tires
Same 😁
So... not going to tell us what the tire is, eh?
Do that Bradly performance atv rear tire mod and see how it compares lol
Looked like a fun place to ride.
Definitely!
Do you have a 24 inch motorcycle fat tire skinny
Why would you stop in the middle of the mud? Or even hit it super slow?
Love it
