Faun is a German band and they usually sing in German, but also use other languages in their songs (check out "Neun Welten" (Eng.: "Nine worlds", there are even captions abailiable for this video)). Their style is described as Neo-Pagan-Folk. They have done another great collab ("Odin") feat. Einar Selvik from Wardruna. It is a live performance. The language Chrigel used in his part was Welsh (not Gaulish) as the song is based on an old Welsh legend about a sorcerer who called the trees to war to help in his fight against some demon/evil.
Thank you for reacting to Faun. They also did collabs with Wardruna. The songs are called Odin and Galdra. Other great songs with nice (live) videos from faun are neun welten and pearl. if you want to hear pure acoustic magic I can recomment the songs the market song and ne aludj el.
Hi Norseman. Really nice reaction. I thought you'd like this one. You mentioned towards the end that you've heard Wardruna too. Just to let you know, Faun also did a collab with them (or at least with Lindy from that group) called Galdra. Just folk, no metal. but still another cool song. Love watching your reactions to this type of music. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks so much, man. I'll dig more into their music, for sure.
@@NORSEVIKING wardruna have done a few colabs with faun. Odin is good, with a typically epic finish from Einar.
I was surprised to see Wolf-Dieter Storl there. He knows a lot about herbs and plants how they were used in the past for example as medicine.
FAUN & ELUVEITIE zusammen, total genial, ein super Song.
I love the contrast of her beautiful vocals against his amazing growl 😊 ,
Gwydion means “born of trees” in Welsh and was the son of the Welsh goddess Dôn.
Faun is great! Been around forever, switches out female singers every few years lol. Sing mostly in German but does mixed or full english songs too.
Thanks for your reaction on this song...I love it since I heard it for the first time.
Odin is another cool song by FAUN....
I saw them 3 times, great band.
His harsh vocal with her coming in at the end is INCREDIBLE!!!
If you like this one you need to listen to "Neun Welten." Its by far their best and darkest song.
Check out Walpurgisnacht by Faun.
it's more like gideon. welsh is a wacky language with those letters.
Please Check out another German Band called Corvus Corax😀
Please react to "Krampus - Paralysis...!!
Hey
Say german is a ugly languuge, thank you hollywood!
Oi Elveitie is not Nordic! Get thee gone, they're Celtic, Gwydion the subject is also Celtic.
I know they're not. I don't remember saying it unless I was comparing them with other like bands.
