- Quick and easy way to make a coconut appam, I have included 2 different recipes for this one longer way and one quicker way. Also I have included different 3 different variation of appam : a coconut milk appam, an egg appam and an ice cream appam. Hope you enjoy the video

Sister in Tamilnadu we add 2 spoons of urad and 1 spoon of fenugreek to rice for soaking. I mix coconut milk and a spoon of sugar to the batter an hour before making appam.

Hi Gowri I tried your appam coconut milk one. The taste was OK but started to get sticky wonder why where did I go wrong to get sticky. 1st few was OK please can you help to over come the sticky ness. I think my appa chatty is ruined any way to get it right. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks. Like your recipes very much because you make it so simple and easy to understand understand.

Wow!Easy and nice explanation. In tamilnadu we do the appam ,take it out with crispy edges .We pour the coconut milk which is mixed with the sugar on that appam only while eating.I saw your string hopper recipe also.Very very good. Keep rocking!!

Hi Abi sha! I would recommend seeing a dermatologist to see what might be the issue. What I do everyday is apply mashed banana to my face for half an hour - it’s very beneficial! I hope this helps :) 🙏😀❤️💖

Thanks for giving the 2nd option for a quick make of appam, which I never thought is possible. Sorry, I think you could have left it in the pan alittle longer for the crispness to appear on the sides. My mom is also from Jaffna and I usually see her make the appam like your 1st option. 😍But she is no longer around.😢 Anyway, I feel it is too much work on your 1st option.
