what an appropriate thing to make it Halloween in this time of story, especially since the idea of this part is that everyone feels safer when they are in costume. It ties in really well with the idea of hiding behind a mask to escape from your troubles.
@@costin0749 that's some backwards ass logic, to define someones worth relative to what you think is a worthwhile way to occupy oneself. if bro was happy that way, he was happy.

idk, just something about the way he does laurie's voice. I'm talking about the tone and the way he reads it, just sounds off. Still, thanks for these videos.
Well a few reasons, these young gang members jumped the gun thinking the two nite owls are the same person and wanted revenge, another reason confirming Rorschach's statement at the end of ch 2, we never die in our bed and have to go down fighting

dairo1 I think the best way to go about it is to view the real panels as the main image and just fill in the rest like inbetweens. Weather or not that's how they made it I don't know, but to me it seams like the best way to do it.
Maybe it's done on Adobe After Effects and Flash/Animated. The existing comics panels are cut, cut at joints, cleaned, the speech bubbles and the panels separated into layers and likewise the joints are animated.
Okay...I've made it this far without saying anything, and I know that it's probably been mentioned a million times before, but I WISH they had gotten a female voice actor! This is my first exposure to this comic and now every time I see a female character from it all I can think is drag queen! :( Why?!
Fruit Soup Haha laughed at the drag queen part, but seriously: I think the narrator has done a good job. It's like in an audio book, one story, one voice, many characeristics.
wyLdchyLd5p6d I agree that he did his best, and yes, that would apply here if an audiobook had imagery to go along with it. However, most don't, and even with that exception, there have been TERRIBLE audiobooks due to there being only a single voice reader (A Song of Ice and Fire). :/ I think more effort should be applied overall. There are plenty of voice actors that could go for these jobs and which have perfected the art. They should read it like a radio play or something. The only audiobook series I've been able to tolerate is Harry Potter, because at least Stephen Fry's character voices weren't all the same sound and remained consistent throughout the whole series. I guess I just hold audiobooks and narrations to too high of a standard or something. I just feel like they could've saved a lot of trouble with this horrendous thing if they had spent the extra money on a female voice actor. Oh, well.
+wyLdchyLd5p6d lol I got used to it after a while. This comic was really slow chapter 1. I never thought I would get it to chapter 8. I only saw the end with Rorschach and Doctor Manhattan which I won't spoil. I'll buy before watchmen with comedian
Hello from 2019 and I agree. The narrator is good but I wish it were a female voice to spice things up. It's all like a schizophrenic having a conversation with the voice in his head out loud. It would have been cooler if it were like the movie split.
The guy sitting around reading pirate comics not giving a fuck. That would be me lol
Rorschach: "Sorry I gotta take a piss"
*enters restroom*
**Muffled groans and fighting sounds**
Dan and Laurie: *casual chit chat*
“Hey Nite Owl.” *shits aggressively*

Ah no, Mason dying was just so sad.
Poor Hollis. His life was one fuckup after another.
It’s why his death in the movie is one of the few changes I liked. Shows he was a contender just one with bad luck.

Elise Martin good joke.

Homeboy was the funniest Crimebuster. The only good joke Blake ever did was trying to r!pe Sally as a bit.
“Excuse me. Have to visit men’s room.”
He’s so weirdly polite. “Good evening, Doctor Manhattan.” “Lady friend.” Rorschach has so many verbal tics.
Hollis Mason's death (especially in the movie) is one of the most heartbreaking moments in comic history.
Nope, it really isn’t. The man was dead for a long time - living on nostalgia alone.

R.I.P. Hollis Mason
Hollister Mason reminds me of a cool grandfather type. Of all the superheros in this world he seemed like the most moral person

Such an amazing story
AHAHA
The detective is plaing mind games with the owl
Damn this keeps getting better and better!!!!
Thanks for posting
Can't help but chuckle at the J Jonah Jameson inspired voice for the newspaper boss
Love that the detective was acted like columbo, can't tell if that was a genius voice acting decision or if it came through just from text too
Wow a love fest between older and younger generation mantles. The og's have good chemistry I admit
there you sit. to this day.
I’m still pissed off about Hollis Mason getting murdered
it's important though
his death is the consequences of Dan's actions
it puts into perspective the danger that comes with a life of adventure.
This is amazing
I hate it when old people die but it was more sad in the actual movie
This one stuck the landing better IMO
Finally faced with horrors both intolerable and unavoidable I chose madness
Epic writing
Nixxonomics i never thought id hear that lol
That is just sad.

Nite Owl never could get a good lock, could he?
Sometimes the best lock is a pair of metal brackets and a 4 by 4.
No its just a quick easy way to supply himself with energy and awake. He is a guy of necessity after all.
Loved watching this episode again today, 🎃

Ok I'm going to ask a very stupid question, but how did you get the comic to move? Did you recreate the entire comic book?
