This tutorial is about how to create an AE tunnel by Ordinary Folk. Motion Design Tunnels are really popular and this one by the Studio Ordinary Folk is extra special as it uses After Effects and Cinema4D. So, in this tutorial, we reverse-engineer their tunnel and break it down into steps we can follow.

Thanks for this penetrating tutorial. It really thrust me deep into AE and C4D. I feel spent.
magnificent comment👏😂😂
Nice breakdown Cameron! 👏
❤
The man himself! Your work has really inspired me over the years so I really appreciate the comment!
It feels like you are making love to After effects every time you open its interface..Wonderful job 😇
Yeah, After Effects defintely turns me on 😁
Very clever idea and bravo for not give up searching, i started Motion design a year ago, probably long way to go :)
Cameron you're the GOAT Looking forward to this new series dude!
incredible tutorial, thank you SO much for breaking this down!!
Amazing, you really make it look pretty easy even with the C4D part!
Thank you!
Amazing, you really make it look pretty easy
Nice tut. The only issue I see with this it's the corners need to stay still while it's rotating, ODF rendered the back of the object because they were having the same issues with the corners. Apart from that, well done demystifying this master piece :)
Super nice mate, thank you!
You're a genius. How did you learn all of this? So impressive
Deus abençoe o canal desse homem
Really helpful
It was my first video here and i loved it
More... we need more of this!
Amazing your tutorial on 4d best!
Such a great tutorial! I can’t wait to see more! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the breakdown
some unrelated tip >> you can use Nvidia broadcast for your eye movement to make it seem as you are looking at the camera .. If you want of course, great job btw keep it up
Love your tutorials man thanks a lot
Thank you thank you thank you ❤❤❤
My pleasure! Thanks for the suggestion 👌
Thank you! that was very informative!
That was way mor eintense than i expected
2:45 When you click to add the second point in the middle, hold down space _after_ clicking and you can move it around. It won't snap to the other point but you can use this to easily move it right after clicking rather than having to go back later to move it.
Edit: I originally thought that it would snap. It doesn't :'(
Doing gods work! Thank you!
Great breakdown, thanks!!!
Brilliant, easy to watch.
thank you
Call "after effects sexy"... You opened a new door of obsession xd. I'm afraid I will need to see it the same way to become as pro as you. Bit scared. Thanks for the tutorial tho
1-00%...If you're not sexually attracted to After Effects, you're motion designing wrong 😄
Amazing
very cool
This is great
Great breakdown. I have challenge for you. Can you reverse engineer the Studio Dumbar/Dept Utah Jazz Brand in motion project?🙌🙌
I am verry happy to see your chanal .
keep it 100!
A simple 2 seconds animation looks really complex because i dont have any bits of knowledge on cinema 4d
Fake 3d like "seven motion graphics" specially the glass coin thing
When I hop back into after effects I'm not seeing the twist reflected in the C4d layer. I thought I followed every step. Darnit.
Make sure you saved your file in C4D before you hop back into AE. Let me know if you are still having problems...
Hey man, thank you. I had actually just saved both projects. Quit and restarted and it wound up updating in AE, like you said. Thanks! Appreciate your tutorials. Never worked in Cinema 4d b4. @@MotionXP
at 7:18 how do you delete the backspace?
