What Did Anakin Skywalker THINK About Darth Plagueis in Star Wars?
Source: Junior Novelization of Revenge of the Sith by Patricia C. Wrede
Music by: @EpicTrailerMusicUK
How often do you think about Darth Plaguis the Wise?
Anakin: yes
every time I'm not thinking about the Roman empire
Damn, if only Anakin studied the way Sith Lords like Darth Sion cheated death, he would have immediately said: "Nope.Nope...Nope."
Can u explain ?
@@alchi313 Darth sion basically was torturing himself in order to be immortal using his pain and hatred to use the dark side yo survive
@@zafjohn well that sucks.
@@zafjohn To add on to this, Sion's body was literally falling apart, and channeling the extreme pain and hatred he felt from his injuries made him strong enough with the Dark Side to keep himself together.
@@kakihustle55to add on a add on to this, darth scion looks like a zombie
He should've been thinking "how tf does this politician have such intimate knowledge of such ridiculously esoteric subject matter?"
Plagueis obviously did not have to worry about losing loved ones, since the only being he loved was the muun he saw every time he looked in the mirror.
The Sith love only themselves. Therefore, Darth Vader was never a full-fledged Sith, he never let go of love and never forgot Padme. Love for his son confirms this
@@MartinTheWarriorr Ye vader was more a dark jedi, most of his actions as a "sith" was for the empire and his duty to his master. Not very different from when he was a jedi serving the republic and jedi masters. Anakin is a really sad character, very much like a greek tragedy where the extremely talented and powerful fall to their own greed or lust or fears and end up destroying themselves and everyone/thing they cared for. Which is exactly what george wanted to make, since star wars is supposed to be a modern mythological story.
@@cognitivedisability9864 indeed, my friend
Palps: Have you heard the tragedy of darth Plagueis the wise?
Vader: Yes master this is the 70th time youve told it
Yes I did call him palps deal with it.
I actually wrote my Jedi thesis on it
I think it's funny that palpatine talks about the story like it's an ancient legend passed down for years, but it didn't even happen that long ago. Like, he's even in the story, lmao
The more he thought about it the more he thought maybe he’d have a new hope 😂
But sadly it wasn’t all going as planned.
"Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagues the wise?"
"Yes, I actually wrote my Jedi thesis on it"
*Fun fact:* George Lucas loved the idea proposed by James Luceno of Plagueis being a muun, as Lucas considered ironic that a radical xenophobe like Palpatine would have an alien as a Sith master.
Every time people sayhave you heard the story of Darth plagus the wise I’m always laughing my ass off😂
Can you do a video on why anakin couldn't sense that plageuis created him since he was so strong with the force. I'm curious
I mean, Anakin has always been 50/50 when it comes to his connection to the force. He always doubted his importance and never really believed in it so I doubt that even sensing that Plageius created him would be something he wouldn’t believe. And it does seem rather wild to assume that you were created by a Sith Lord due to him trying to "play God" so to speak.
Plageuis didnt create Anakin. It force itself created chosen one as a response to Plageuis experimemts on force
Clearly, he forgot the part where Palpy said "but not himself"
The goat never disappoints
Anakin was soooooo naive. Sidious sends him to kill all the Jedi at the temple and tells him, AFTER the mission(slaughter) he would be capable of saving padme. He was too focused on saving padme that he didn't even realize sidious was playing him. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, is he?
Well technically speaking Palpatine never claimed he can save save Padme, he only explained to Anakin that if they both work together they can discover the secret of darth plaguis however after padme death Anakin no longer needed to learn the power
@@csmith3248 True. I do wonder how sidious knew Anakin force choked padme though.
@@flintironstag2381
Sidious sensed Anakin/ Vader feelings of Anger that he force choked Padme
Hence when Vader asked if Padme was okay, Sidious just replied that Vader killed her
Everyone is still admiring Ego Damask Darth Plagueis, unfortunately Palpatine killed him before learning the secret of immortality.
He thought of Plagius enough to write an essay about him
He actually said to himself: Damn this was a better pick up lines than the ones I used with Padme and was it true, Anakin stayed with Palps for 20+ years🔥🔥
Ya I tbh that might’ve been like one the first things palpatine told anikan to hook him on to the dark side lol. Bc his only motive was to bring his loved ones back and to rule with them
Have you ever heard the tragedy of darth plaegus the wise
It's not a story the Jedi would tell you
Lol

People who just lightly brush over fandom...& the incessant whiners...completely miss the point behind Darth Sidious.
Even Palpatine's Sith title is an open declaration of his multi-layered plot:
Being insidious🤔
Anakin was always a petulent child & "forced" (if you will) INTO that cycle because he was abused by Gordola & then Watto (as a slave), freed by the ONLY real "father-figure" he ever had (for an unfortunate hot minute before Darth Maul killed him) in Qui Gon Jinn, handed over to The Jedi Order to basically remain a puppet & a slave (being trained by the ONLY "brother" he ever had in Obi Wan Kenobi), being played like a puppet BY Darth Sidious & ultimately losing EVERYTHING Skywalker feared to lose & being ultimately enslaved until his dying day TO Palpatine as a Sith Lord...as an apprentice & NEVER a master of anything.
Talk about your tragedy in a fictional story arc.
The only other character I see as pitiful in a fictional story arc is Smeagol/Gollum from Tolkien's LOTR storyline.
We don't know the story of darth plaguis the wise, though. It's not a story the jedi would tell us
Palpetine: have you heard of the tragedy of darth plagueis the wise
Anakin:yes
Palpetine: oh… ok well good bye
Darth Plagueis advices how to save you love:
First step: Don't choke your wife.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Second step: Be sure she's alive and not dead.🤣🤣🤣🤣
The third step: Who's fucking care what is the third step if you didn't do it first step and the second?🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love all of the star wars movies
congrats on 100k
My first thought would be "How does a politician know anything about this stuff?"
His a politician that’s how he knows lol
Politicians know many stuff that everyone things they are naive of
It's not a story, it's a tragedy than no jedi can tell you
He was tricked to believe he could keep her it happens when you let someone you believe in
Revenge of the Sith if Anakin Was Smart:
Palpatine: It's a Sith Legend
Anakin: Wait, you're a Sith?
Have you heard the story of dArTh PlAgUs ThE wIsE
Did he?
Who’s stronger, plaguies or Dooku? Personally I feel like Plagueis slams.
Plagues was more powerful than Sidious never mind Dooku
Sidious wouldn’t able to kill plagues in a straight fair fight, he had to get him drunk and tired and kill him while his sleeping
Darth plagueis did nothing wrong
Yes he did he trained a monster Darth Sidious.
@@jeffreyconner2937 And then got killed by him
@@goldendiana986 He knew the deal in becoming a sith.
@@jeffreyconner2937that was an accident
