Personally, I believe no one is truly alone in anything. We all struggle with our own issues, some more unique than others. But certain people can relate to those experiences. There's people out there who can help if you need it, don't be afraid to ask. Best of luck! 👍❤️

He has no room to improve that much. Yes, that kid will be better, when he's 18, but he probably will be a upper midclass driver. Maybe a top tier driver. IF he keeps doing it. Most of the time, kids change hobbys in puberty, since they lose interest.

Yep, that R5 is a beast, especially since it more or less has the same specs as the 2000's WRC car, and yet, delivers all that in much more brutal way, and the game depicts that pretty nicely
I remember when i was 9-10 years old, and i used to challenge my dad on Colin Mcrae rally 3, we had both pedals, steering wheel and gearshifter back then, pretty elaborate set up for being back in 02/03. My father has won rallies in the junior swedish championship back in the early 80s so he could drive. And i used to beat him by miles xD
I would say that real world driving doesnt always translate to these rigs. The feel is so different even with a good rig. About as close as you can get would be a non-stationary rig with motors and hydraulics.
@@daniellarsson3699 For sure. Sim racing has definitely made me a better driver IRL. I think it has helped with handling oversteer and that sort of thing, as well as made my times faster in AutoX. Its funny that you were faster than your dad even though he was competetive haha
Download it again and take your time this time, improving is about figuring out what works then slowly pushing your limits. Dirt rally is some serious fun dont miss out on it :p

I just started playing this game for the first time a couple days ago and I though I was pretty good, then I tried this course with the same car and got a 3:17. I just saw the kid's video and the bravery in the straights is just amazing

Probably the most nail biting gaming challenge I’ve seen in such a long time. I thought the 9 year old challenging ya was silly as hell but seeing that kid really changed my view and the final run had me on the edge of my seat especially in the last sector
Enjoyed that even with the cock up with the car. That kid has a bright future if he sticks at it. I hope my 3 year old son will grow to love SIM racing so I can happily train him. Just as a test for myself I did the same stage and car and on my 5th try managed 2.59.387, but the kid did a fantastic time and I'm sure he's probably since beaten it.
This is probably my favorite stage in dirt 2.0 so I had to go and try to beat this time........ My excuse is I was using an Xbox controller. My time was 3.21 and it took way more than 5 tries to not crash.
Just did this challenge, and man what a great stage that is. There are some serious aliens on dirt though. I ran a 2:54.74 on default setup felt proud then saw that I barely made top 200 lol anyway great video and hopefully some more dirt content soon!

R5's don't use paddle shift, so if the kids using a sequential shifter like the actual car has jimmer then he's got you as you gained an advantage not having to take your hands off the wheel to shift!
You really need a helmet to complete the illusion. Then pipe the co-driver audio into it. This is why I play with a controller because the sim racing rabbit hole clearly has no bottom.
Start to down shift if u know u got a turn coming up so when u get out u can red line then shift in the straight because the more tourk gets u up to speed faster

Download it again and take your time this time, improving is about figuring out what works then slowly pushing your limits. Dirt rally is some serious fun dont miss out on it :p

mad respect for this kid, I've been mostly drifting in my sim racing days so hot laps aren't really my thing though he's definitely more skilled than I am and I'm 10 years older, you still had to work for that and you've been doing this for years
