I have the black (carbon fiber dial) version. It took me 2 years to get one, and 6 months for the bracelet links. I can't tell you how much I love this watch. The AR coat is amazing, one of the best I had ever seen. I can't think selling this watch, even in 800 bucks.
I am so happy to be able to say I bought and got mine yesterday! It is fantastic! Super legible. The "shine", the quality, it is 100 per cent. It's used but in mint condition with tag, papers and box. I will be sure to wear it everyday!
The two Orient Stars I have both wear smaller than they measure. I love their quality and attention to detail. That one really does look like a high end Omega!

Another worth mention about Orient Star's SAR coating tech is that, Orient Star's SAR does not scratch easily like Omega's AR coating, you know, Omega also got that same super anti-reflection coating tech, but the coating on the glass did scratch kinda easily..., on the other hand, my Orient Star moonphase model, which also comes with the SAR coating like this model, does not scratch. That's what I found out about Orient Star's SAR. It's really insane consider the price point, just wow!
I believe that the leather strap is from the company called Cheap nato straps from Sweden. They make tons of straps, all styles and dimensions. Pretty affordable and very well made.
Yeah, Cheapest Nato Straps. They use Kvarnsjö Leather on many of their straps. Lots of various straps for affordable prices. Mostly pretty good quality.
I have this exact model and it really is a killer (took a while to find it...). Amazing wrist presence and I wear it on leather. 22mm is a bit too wide but nice tapered 22-18 leather strap and all sorted. Strap monster, this goes with pretty much every color combo 👍 A keeper for me

Yeah the more we see microbands and even bigger brands, making great affordable, spec filled pieces... I scratch my head more and more why people are paying thousands and thousands more for some of the things you get for that uptick in price. It just doesn't logically make sense.
If you can live with a beautiful gloss white dial instead of the silver teak and are lucky enough to find one, the WZ0021DV is exactly what you're looking for

It does make it beautiful, but you lose the benefit of having sapphire because the coating will scratch and rub off if you ding it. Not a huge problem if just wearing it as a dress watch, but if you want to make it an everyday wear you'll notice it
These are hard to find nowadays. I was lucky to buy two of them but I don’t like the metal bracelets so I wear them on perlon straps for the summer. Perfect :-)

Because it is larger in size (40.5-41) with a wider bracelet. For me that is an advantage beacuse throwing a nice leather strap that tapers from 22 to 18 will make this watch more dressier. On bracelet it is more of a sports casual watch IMHO

Stunning watch. Orient really need to push their Star line more and release more offerings. The quality you get for the price is exceptional.
The 38mm Orient Star Standard was one of my favorite watches. I regret selling it...felt like it was much nicer than the Sarb033 I had.

looks good, i ordered the two tone version of this watch brand new for my birthday. I bought it for around $400 so I'd say pretty good deal all around

Great-looking dial and fine loom. Just wish it was a little more accurate, though 10 seconds off isn't bad.

Orient Star should get rid of the power reserve. This model proves it. Useless complication that ruins the dial.
