Hello beautiful friends! I've been getting a lot of messages and comments on how I do my quiet time with Jesus. I was a bit hesitate to make this video about how I spend time with God and study the bible, which I explain in the video. I go to public school so watching your videos like this reminds me I’m not alone as a young adult who is trying to pursue Jesus! I never have a consistent routine either and this is the strongest I have ever been in my faith!

I always have to give a disclaimer before my bible routines and morning routines. Like girl I am a mom and I am tired and I am TRYING my very best 😂 LOL
hi kian :) it’s so awesome seeing how you’ve transformed and have grown in your faith throughout your videos.. God has definitely used you/spoken through you to me (and I bet other girls too) even if you feel like none of what you’re saying makes sense, it totally does and it’s so cool watching a genuine lover of Christ be able to display her own walk with Him to the public. I personally 100% relate to your move from Arizona and the struggle to find encouraging community. I went to three different high schools and am now starting in a new environment (first year of college!!) but I am thankful to be in the area still so I do have an awesome church community but have definitely prayed that specific, encouraging, God-driven girls come in my life. With His timing too because I have a bad habit of pushing people away and I don’t want that anymore!

Hi Kian! I am a senior in college now and I have loved watching your videos. Whether it is the single diaries, advice videos, or get healthy with me, your content is so relatable and inspiring! Delight is such a great ministry and i'm so happy you learned about them! Finding Christian community has changed my life in college. I think that it can be really hard to commit to making time to grow in right relationship with God while also juggling the craziness of life. I have been trying to find times during the day that I can devote to God, even if that means talking to him while I get ready in the morning before class. Like you said, it is never perfect, but I've realized that showing up is half the battle. It is a process but i know that we will both get there! Thanks for this video

I’m definitely not a college student, I’m still in 12th grade, but I struggle to find a community that I can talk with & won’t think that I’m a freak for talking about God all day long. I believe I don’t have a personality issue, more like a family issue so.. I’m not comfortable talking about it here I’m really sorry. To be completely honest, I find friends through internet because I really don’t have physical friends. So watching your videos helps me a lot. Like a lot.
And also, I’m so obsessed with your background 😭😍
I also struggle with being consistent when it comes to my quiet time with God. I’ve found for me I really have to do it in the morning or I’ll just put it off the rest of the day because of other things I need/want to do. I like what you said about going somewhere like a coffee shop to make it more exciting, I personally love going outside when I spend time alone with God, there’s something so peaceful about it.
One thing I’ve started doing recently is singing worship songs or making up little songs and singing them to God and just doing that throughout the day, it helps me to stay focused on Him. Loved the video btw, keep it up!!
Hi Kian, I just love your channel! Your topics are soo relevant to all of us & I love your sweet Christian demeanor. 😃 yes early morning is also the best time for me to spend quiet time with God, I try to talk to God every day, if possible but my level of consistency is also "not ideal ". But just remember, Kian, Jesus is always consistent and will never leave you or abandon you.
Hi Kian! I recently found your videos from searching how to be free from sexual sins and it was so nice to finally find another woman that also deals with what I am going through. It is so sad how women can't be honest with these difficulties and I think you are so strong to address these topics. I also want to say that I am a college student and I have found that this year I have been dealing with a lot of loneliness and it has been really hard to connect with God when I don't feel him there. This semester alone has been so hard but also is a season of growth through fighting sexual sins and finding a good community that I can lean on that is pushing me back to Him. Thank you for all your great Christian videos and keep doing what you are doing because it is great!

you probably wont see this because this video is kinda old now, but this really did make me feel a lot better. i was REALLY on fire for God last year and then i went through something that made me just completely fall away from him and i'm trying so hard to feel that again and want to really be in a relationship with him, but it's so hard for me recently 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Give yourself grace and be patience with yourself. Don’t compare yourself to the past or have any expectations. God loves you and is waiting for you! 🤍

I am so grateful for the way he's renewed and changed my heart and listening to your testimony was so encouraging for me! I struggle with my quiet time with God in the mornings and would love some more resources to help me better understand his love for me and for humanity! Love you girl!
My mom calls those kinds of days "On and off days" cuz the light goes on and off..lol I love that! You reminded me of her in a good way as we recently had an argument! I know nobody might see this comment but I will write it anyway: I think that god has the perfect plan. He knows that you are not always equally open to communicate with him. He knows life get busy and sometimes we need a little space. He knows what’s best for us. When we go through those days where god does not pull us close to him, he always gives us a gentle reminder to turn to him again. He knows that we sometimes need a change of perspective and he will give us space for that. This does however not change the fact that he is always with us, no matter how open we are to receive his love.

I’m a non-traditional student (usually 8-10 years older than the average student lol) so I might be friends with someone for a semester but then it seems by the next semester we don’t really chat anymore, especially since I’m close to graduating from my community college and transferring to my college for my BFA next fall
I would love to have those goodies! I live in the Netherlands, don't know if that's a problem? But I am in college now and would love to have that. My whole family is atheist and they don't support me. I have to do it on my own and with my small group, but I never can go to church on sunday because of my parent. Just as you I have sometimes troubles with constantly reading my Bible. This would be more helpful! Kian you are so special and thankyou for sharing. I love to learn from you cause I don't have parents who show and teach me about Jesus. Thankyou for being so real, it makes me feel like there are more people who don't read the Bible every day. Religion is habit with belief. Faith is believing and doing out of wanting more. Christian habits comes from when you want more which doesn't mean consistency. Christian faith is a relationship with God. If it is a relationship does it need consistency?
i would say that relationship brings consistency. it doesn't start like that though! for example, when you just meet a friend, you talk to them once every few days maybe, and get to know them. after a few months, though, you guys may be a lot closer and hang out more. same with God. we grow in our relationship and begin to talk to him more and more as we grow closer. so the more our relationship grows, the more consistent we are!
