Great looking locomotive! Fabulous museum and collection! She appears to steam well and rides well depending on track conditions, and is well-balanced! Thanks for sharing!
1993 is when we made it. Peter Sumner did the narration. Bob Lagettie. We only had a $1,500 dollar camera shooting Super VHS and My wife went strait from the camera original to a master tape and then a dub from that, for duplicating. We had very primitive editing equipment in those days.

Great footage
You should have saved a 34 class and a 58 class when you had the chance they where both on death row at Enfield?
Pity the diesel section was not included, 4201 etc. Still a great documentary, very informative, thank you.

We made this Video in 1993. I had a camera that you couldn't change the exposure on and My wife had limited editing equipment to cut this video.

Wow thats when thirlmere was a cool place to visit 😀 memories. Now it looks like a buisness park 😔 and theres hardly any exibits to see any more.
Looks quite sterile, No sounds or movement of machinery, no steam, and no sounds; the critical appealing sensory stimulations for a museum..
