The Trent XWB is the best sounding engine so far built. Let's wait for the UltraFan, and see if it will satisfy aviation enthusiast. Next to the XWB I would say the GE90 and third place the Trent 900.

Sometimes I miss flying, if only for the ability to go pack myself into a seat and enjoy a nice view like this, undisturbed by life for a few hours.
