    This is fascinating stuff. Gives a lot to think about. If we keep doing things the same way, we will never advance.

    As far as I can tell, this concept fundamentally misunderstands how phase change heat pumps work. Adding heat won't help you cool something down more efficiently. If you can explain how it can, please do so because I'd love to know.

    • @nhilistickomrad4259

      What they're saying is that they use a solar compressor, meaning pressurised gas is heated to further raise it's pressure for fixed volume, so they're raising afterload for the actual electrical compressor, and then they cool this with a larger condenser, and this somehow raises efficiency.
      At first I was convinced but later now I'm stumped.

      Refrigerant will want to expand, making harder for compressor, besides if condenser couldn't cool it as should then warmer refrigerant will pass through evaporator ..so dumb

    I'm fairly certain that heat is a by product of the compression process not a goal, if that were the case there'd be no need for the condenser units that cool the vapor back to liguid before going into the compressor... that said in the case of ammonia ADSORPTION refrigeration you need only heat to liberate the ammonia from its absorption medium (could be a salt), which incidently compresses it, and drive it off to condenser to allow the liquid to be used in the chiller, where it evaporates and then returning to the media.

    Thanks for nice information sir. Can you please explain that how it works in night when there is no sun and no heat outside. What will be the power consumption and efficiency of solar AC during Sun and night. Is it suitable for indian climate ? Thanks and regards

    • @synergyfiles3536
      @synergyfiles3536  6 років тому +1

      When there is no sun, the Solar AC runs just like a normal AC. This means solar AC draws less power from grid when the sun is out while it draws more power when there is no sun

    • @kentbarger6974
      @kentbarger6974 5 років тому +1

      Going to work at night only when the sun is out using solar energy during the daytime will help lowering your electric bill because during the daytime your air conditioner will not be using as much energy from the grid also it is cooler at night so the compressor will not be turning on as often air conditioners use more electricity during the daytime because the compressor has to kick on more often because it is hotter during the daytime and if you set your thermostat a little higher turn the night time compressor will not kick on as often this will help you tease electrical use

  • @jec_ecart

    Not sure how smart of an idea this is.
    Putting the condenser in direct sun, reduces cooling and lifespan. It's always advised to put the outdoor units in shade. Saves more energy than using some new tech solar tubes.

  • @jackrodgersjr
    @jackrodgersjr 6 років тому +2

    I think that heating before compressing the gas is wrong and would lower the cooling capacity of the system just as it is reduced on a hot day. The sun heats the gas before it is compressed which is why the efficiency is less on a hot day.

    • @jeroenhaentjens9156
      @jeroenhaentjens9156 5 років тому

      No. I think it Can be better since you add energy that the compressor otherwise has to provide. The work of the compressor is related directly to the ratio of compression. Higher low pressure, with constant high pressure Always results in lower power consumpion.

    • @ehabtuffaha4083
      @ehabtuffaha4083 4 роки тому +1

      Yes hundred percent, cause if you see P H diagram its clear once you heat more after evaporator then work required by compressor is more , enthalpy of gas increases but pressure nothing so still zero benefit as the system is compression not absorber so this vedio done by idiot's, if you see T S diagram then again T increases and entropy increases do you know what if entropy increases it means again you are far from saturation so you need more power by compressor, last if you heat more the gas then you need bigger size of condenser..... so its wrong information

      A normal compressor increases the pressure (and therefore also the temp) of the refrigerant. if the refrigerant is preheated by the sun (which also increases pressure *I think*) before entering the compressor, the compressor doesn't have to work as hard. That's the theory anyway.

    This sounds like a scam. The functioning of ac dosenot require heating. The compressor just compress the vapor back into liquid and this process results into a hot compressed refrigerant, post that it goes to the condenser for the temperature drop then to the valve where it is relived from high pressure to low pressure then to evaporator where the air from room passes over the coil and heat exchange happens and you get cold air. This relived gas goes back to the compress condenser cycle.

      Absorption cooling is somthin from 19th century. You can use wiki on this. Nothing new. Problem of this Technology is or was how to get more than 75 °Celsius with Solar tubes. Now this Problem is solved with new Tubes working at least in Sub Tropical Tropical etc countries + Ammonia replaced by Ionic liquides and the Need of less than 75° Celsius. One Problem stays,, what are you doing at night time when the temperature of water reduces below 70° Celsius and the System stops to work
