Ive been wanting to make a small parts sled for the bandsaw for a while so decided to film making a quick and easy one. Nothing fancy about this build but it's very practical and i can now make bowtie jigs to use with the sled on the bandsaw. let me know in the comments if that's a video you'd be interested in seeing.
The bandsaw is the Axminster Trade which they have since rebranded as the professional, here's the link- www.axminstert...
Thanks for watching
Thank you for not editing your mistake. I feel much better. haha Great job!! I am building one now for my bandsaw
No problemo 😂👍
It’s nice to be allowed to see others make silly mistakes just like I do! Thanks for being willing to share that too!😊
Thanks for watching 👍😎
Great idea. Thanks.
Thanks for watching 🤙🙌
Great little build mate, we all have those moments of realisation half way through 😅🤣🤣
Thanks mate
Yup… when the penny dropped and I realised my mistake 🤦♂️😂
Great to see what you do. All the very best from us all. 👍
Thank you 🙌
Bandsaw drift is commonly caused by uneven wear on the tooth set. That said, your permanently-fixed fence might become irrelevant when you get a new blade in that machine.
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it 🤙
@@roc-wood-creations I am curious, have you changed the blade since you made the sled? Did it require adjustment?
@@joujimiichi1 I have, but I stuck with the 6mm (1/4”) blade and all seems fine. It’s an easy bandsaw to tune up to be fair… well it was until recently but that’s down to needing new tires which I need to replace.
👍👍🙌🙌
Thanks Grant mate 🙌
