@@xKelaino I think you can only do it in handheld mode but turn your switch upside down to evolve it, much in the same way as past generations.

This one is super clever, a lot like inkay's way of evolution. For this you whip the cream by spinning and for inkay you literally turned the ds upside down its so cool to see more than just leveling and stones for evolving methods

I’m not that surprised Game Freak is trying to expound on evolutionary lines; the leveling up way, for them at least, gets a little boring.

Alcremmie is basically whipped cream and you have to stir it.
So "spinning" a Milcrey with a "flavor" makes whipped cream with whatever topping.

Cring-Y XD Alcremie also involves parts of the word Alchemy, as it uses different ingredients in its structure like an alchemist would in their ingredients.

You can also use different sweet for toppings. In this video, only Strawberry Sweet was shown

Since when is Caramel bitter??
If you stir caramelizing sugar too fast when making caramel, the sugar has a higher chance of burning which turns the finished caramel bitter! So you basically spun Alcremie too fast.
I wonder if it was a coffee sweet in the original Japanese.
FruitFreak that’s true but then it isn’t really caramel. It’s a new substance. Like when you could make Poffins in gen 4, if you messed it up too much you got a whole new kind of icky poffin.
GamerFromJump that’s possible although I think everyone knows what coffee is so that’s an odd change.
Apparently this has to do with flavor preference in Japan (and possibly other countries?)
Japan isn’t as fond of seriously sweet things, so they tend to balance it with other flavors. When you cook caramel to 410°F it becomes “baker’s caramel.” (Which is more bitter but has a deeper color and is popular to add color to things.) So when they reference caramel, it could be that they mean specifically this kind.

Alcremie has 63 different forms actually, there’s 7 different toppings (including the one used in the video) and he didn’t show the 9th spinning method, which it has to be dusk and you have to spin 10 seconds counter clockwise

Honestly I feel like with the games having a 400 Pokemon dex and Gamefreak had to make the best of the new Pokemon to make them stand out, they had to make the evolution conditions balance between some being simple and others being unique enough that players will be able to experience the new Pokemon at their best

Well, that's a strange but clever way of evolving a Pokemon.
for the 9th version you have to spin for 200 minutes counter clockwise and 4000 minutes clock wise. You barf on Milicent and it turns into Allvolmit :P

@@Direultimatum I saw that it only has one shiny form but you can pick whatever topping with it. So spinning time and time of day won't matter. Will still have the same shiny colors

I'm glad I know how to evolve Milcery and how to get enough sweets for different combination. However on serebii there's a rainbow Alcreamie and I wonder how we can attain it/evolve Milcery into it.

The shiny has grey in it, but I don't know if it's like Minior in which there's only one shiny colour.
A shiny Alcremie looks like a burnt marshmallow to me. I won't be able to get Shield for another two months as I'd also have to save up for a Switch too. But I guess it doesn't matter what flavor it is since I assume the shiny will stay the same regardless.

@@pierrenegron1507, Gen 4 introduced Pokémon that only evolved by learning certain moves, others evolved only at certain times of the day while holding certain items, and some also evolved in certain locations.

There's also a rainbow swirl form that you can only get at dusk, apparently! It's ridiculous how many forms there are, I love it so much, what a fun way to customise your pokemon.

After it evolved, it took on a disgusting flavor. This is because of the way its cells spontaneously shifting after it's trainer vomits on it.
Pretty sure everyone's found out by now, but you can evolve Alcremie into 8 forms, but there's other forms depending on which way you spin and time of day, which overall equals to around 64 forms, not counting Shiny.
This is such a cool new way to evolve a pokémon. I like that they still have specific methods for various evolutions of pokémon.

As soon as you catch a Ditto you can breed the Milcery. Few of my Alcremie are on level 1 with different flavors. So no need to search and catch or go for dens, if it can make it easier or faster for you.

Technically with all of the different combos, you can make at least 54 different versions depending of which direction you spin in, how long, time of day, and the sweet you have it hold

You thought customizing your Furfrou was great? Now, you can spin different ways at different times of day, as well as giving your Milcery a topping, to customize your Alcremie!
There's actually a rare ninth flavor called Rainbow Swirl.
Supposedly you unlock it by spinning milcery anti-clockwise at precisely dawn or dusk (when the sky is pink, preferably at the Wild Lands) for over 10-20 sec. (20 sec for good measure)

From what I'v e learned. There are up to 70 alcreamie forms. Dictated by the time of day you spin it (mid day, after dark, and Dusk), how long you spin it (5 seconds or 10+ seconds). and which direction (Clockwise and counter clockwise). Not to mention the decorations you equip it with before hand. so with 7 decorations, and several ways to mix it up, you have a lot of possible forms.

Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite evolution methods. All of the puzzle evolutions have been pretty cool. Except Galarian Yamask. Unnecessarily specific.

Im pretty sure the decorations differ depending on where u catch the alcremie. I don't know for sure tho
The decorations are the sweet item it’s holding. For example, if it has a ribbon sweet, it will have ribbon decorations on it when it evolves.

Ok the galar Pokémon may not be the greatest but they have the most creative evolutionary requirements like sinistea needs a crackpot to go inside of and becomes polteageist and the milcery has to be shaken up while with something sweet like that’s actually pretty clever I’m in love with these games 😍😍
