This truly could've been a mediocre film, it should've been. But with such amazing talent from Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, Levitt and the others, they elevated it so much to an all time classic. I was there with my girlfriend for opening day to see this, I fell in love with the movie way back then when I was 22. I'm so glad I get to teach this version to my year 10 students in school now that I'm 42 :)

To teens of this generation, i recommend watching these old movies, 10 Things I Hate about You, She's All That, maybe the first American Pie? The Wedding Singer, Something About Mary, a couple more i don't remember, then round it all up with A Walk to Remember. It's a rollercoster of emotions, let me tell ya.
