I love how Ubisoft is like soooo chill. I am a very small content creator from Belgium with like minimum views and followers and they still want to collab with me and send my game keys/stuff. I had so much fun playing this game... I spent more than 70 hours to explore most part of the world and, considering I got the game on the Nintendo sale, it was definitelly a great deal for me. Sometimes I would spend literally hours just collecting lots of pomegranates, at one point I had more than 400 with me 😅
Ubisoft: here, buy the game... and wile you’re at it buy the dlc that comes out at the exact same time as the game. I mean I know that we could have just had that stuff in the game, but... money!

After watching your video. I immediately bought the game after the video. I was really looking for a game like Breath of the Wild. It's close to game play like BotW. Also dealing with the struggles of dropping a orb down a waterfall (by mistake).. while getting "Apple of Discord".

Get to the point... Got 4 minutes into this and quit cause I'm here to learn about the game, not watch you dramatically interact with your own echoey voice. Being quirky is cool, definitely have some fun, but you also have to deliver.

Just started the game yesterday on Series X and while it definitely looks a billion times better there than on the Switch... I'm shocked at how much content this game has and how they managed to cram it all onto one Switch cartridge.
I purposely just came back to say after picking it up for 30 bucks I am loving every minute of it (on PlayStation)… I wouldn’t have been upset paying full price either but 10/10 recommend if you enjoy BoTW & Greek Mythology.
I'm looking forward to some gold edition at a better price (not that it isn't fairly priced I suppose, just that it's outside of my budget). It seems to me that it simply borrows what many open world games should borrow from breath of the wild: an actual open world to explore without stupid real world limitations, or limitations that wouldn't be limitations in the real world. After BotW it's really hard to return to, say, Skyrim, and not feel like it's totally ridiculous that you can't climb a certain rock or object (but can break the logic by just running and jumping against most rocks). Make it a feature to climb rocks and float down to traverse fields quickly, and the world is much more inviting, more fun to explore, and exploring doesn't suddenly break the immersion. Why wouldn't many games "copy" that? Honestly, it reminds me more of Kid Icarus Rising, but with some BotW influences.
I finally tried it out last night, it's looks very nintendo. Although i can't shake the feeling of buying a $60 "incomplete" game with its extra transactions. 🤔 It's also a battery drainer, in half brightness it uses as much power as skyrim in full brightness(it's a literally dark game).
The best part of this game? Making your perfect Greek waifu. Long, midnight black hair; light brown skin; smoldering eyes of the rarest violet. . . . Boy, I need a wife. 😅
I mean i want to try it but I don't wanna pay 60$ for 30 hours of game play. I want replayabilty, new game +, extra stuff to grind for. Edit just seen the expansions. But I'm broke. So honestly knowing ubisoft, im just going to wait till they're on sale. With the game

This isn’t one of those times, not because of the back and forth skit but because I feel you’ve praised this game more than it should have been. Is this because it’s sponsored, who knows. This game graphically is not as joyful to play as you’ve stated and the controls can be a bit frustrating at times especially during puzzles. @@InitialFailure there's literally different mechanics between the two games and different stories. All open world games have similar details you could say are ripped from each other because they're from the same genre
@@ladyshaylala3870 and there's literally more copied than not between the art style, climbing and gliding, powers like magnetism, the world builds etc. Kinda like a BotW sequel build in it's Alpha stage that was renamed... like I said. It's fair to disagree sure, it's also ignorant to not note a rip-off when it's staring you in the face lol. This is not a mere similarity of genre, this is akin to what is seen in the firearms industry called "clones." You can have say a Bersa thunder that is in the same genre/class (blowback operated, semiautomatic, compact pistol) as the Walther PPK but it goes farther than that; the Bersa is literally a copied PPK with only slight variations that now make them allot more distinguishable. Fenyx Rising is to BotW as a Thunder is to a PPK. It might go off in it's own direction eventually but right now, it's a clone Lady.

That's a major negative for me because it gave the player a short term reason to explore as well as a long term one and created interesting situations where you'd have to get by without them or avoid combat for a while. The less you horded weapons in BOTW, the more fun you had with them, so what I want to see most is how developers can find a way to keep players from holding on to their weapons instead of just smashing them left and right and having a good time.
@@garyfairhead3186 I hated it at first but thought about the fact that all the weapons are just about 100 years old so I imagine they are close to worthless given the time, but I completely understand what you’re saying.
@@theeOnslaught but not a single tree, landscape or rock changed in 100 years. So I avoided most fights and only used bombs, over and over again. Making the game so boring. Until I got to a few places to grab the same weapon over and over again across my play through. If weapons should break, have them last about 20× longer.
They would if they could, the main director of Uprising has been stuck directing Smash Bros since Smash 4. All I want is for Sakurai to be able to work on his adopted child again lol

I’ve only put in 5 hours into this game but it’s amazing, I love the narrators and I found it hilarious when Zeus said, that’s only the prologue! It’s got like a Deadpool charm to it crossed with Zelda BoTW!

Gamers now compare every open world game with cell-shaded art to BOTW. Fenyx is quite different. Tbh I never got into BOTW bc its combat & shrines bored me (I'm never a fan of slow puzzles). I prefer other Zeldas, like Links Awaking which is also on Switch. But surprisingly I loved this Fenyx game even tho I didn't expect much. It's like a God of War "junior." The main similarity to BOTW is the shrines

reallly seems like a copy of botw... like way too similar. edit: holy cow i’m at the part about the gods and their abilities. strangely similar to the different champions and how they also give you abilities when you help them. you mentioned you got the ability to come back to life after you die... sounds like the fish lady’s ability. exact. copy.
Couldn't be happier about it tbh. BOTW had many amazing aspects that for me, and I'm sure many others, were butchered by lack of combat mechanics when it came to melee weapons and the terrible weapon breaking system. This game seems to take the great parts of BOTW, made it prettier, let you make your own character, and threw in an extensive ability tree with fast paced combat. I'm so happy to have a game like BOTW that I can enjoy!

I honestly like other companies are making “BoTW styled” games cause it really demonstrates how that game impacted the industry and how it’s mechanics and art-style an really improve other games

@@InitialFailure there's literally different mechanics between the two games and different stories. All open world games have similar details you could say are ripped from each other because they're from the same genre

Kinda like a BotW sequel build in it's Alpha stage that was renamed... like I said. It's fair to disagree sure, it's also ignorant to not note a rip-off when it's staring you in the face lol. This is not a mere similarity of genre, this is akin to what is seen in the firearms industry called "clones." You can have say a Bersa thunder that is in the same genre/class (blowback operated, semiautomatic, compact pistol) as the Walther PPK but it goes farther than that; the Bersa is literally a copied PPK with only slight variations that now make them allot more distinguishable.
Fenyx Rising is to BotW as a Thunder is to a PPK. It might go off in it's own direction eventually but right now, it's a clone Lady.

I didn't say it's a good or bad game, I said it's a rip-off or clone because, well it is. I'm sorry reality is bothering you and some others but for better or for worse, this game is a BotW clone. Maybe someday it'll be it's own game like Saints Row eventually was along with others. Right now, it's a BotW clone.

SuperMLGo haha same with me,, zelda is almost perfect for me, but the weapon durability is annoyed me, when I get a new good weapon, I prefer keep it so it don’t break 🤣🤣
That's a major negative for me because it gave the player a short term reason to explore as well as a long term one and created interesting situations where you'd have to get by without them or avoid combat for a while.
The less you horded weapons in BOTW, the more fun you had with them, so what I want to see most is how developers can find a way to keep players from holding on to their weapons instead of just smashing them left and right and having a good time.

@@garyfairhead3186 I hated it at first but thought about the fact that all the weapons are just about 100 years old so I imagine they are close to worthless given the time, but I completely understand what you’re saying.
@@theeOnslaught but not a single tree, landscape or rock changed in 100 years. So I avoided most fights and only used bombs, over and over again. Making the game so boring. Until I got to a few places to grab the same weapon over and over again across my play through.
If weapons should break, have them last about 20× longer.

Game is amazing. Grabbed a physical Gold edition and im having a blast.
I’ve only put in 5 hours into this game but it’s amazing, I love the narrators and I found it hilarious when Zeus said, that’s only the prologue! It’s got like a Deadpool charm to it crossed with Zelda BoTW!

Gamers now compare every open world game with cell-shaded art to BOTW. Fenyx is quite different. Tbh I never got into BOTW bc its combat & shrines bored me (I'm never a fan of slow puzzles). I prefer other Zeldas, like Links Awaking which is also on Switch. But surprisingly I loved this Fenyx game even tho I didn't expect much. It's like a God of War "junior." The main similarity to BOTW is the shrines

Couldn't be happier about it tbh. BOTW had many amazing aspects that for me, and I'm sure many others, were butchered by lack of combat mechanics when it came to melee weapons and the terrible weapon breaking system. This game seems to take the great parts of BOTW, made it prettier, let you make your own character, and threw in an extensive ability tree with fast paced combat.
I'm so happy to have a game like BOTW that I can enjoy!
