- Early morning Wizzair trip report on board one of their brand-new Airbus A321 CEO from Vienna to Madrid. In this case, we flew on the A321 with the "100 Airbus" special livery.
This is one of the first flight to depart from Vienna every day, at 6AM. This allowed us to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen. Intense purple lights, mixed with orange, blue, yellow... Just amazing. Precious.

That purser's pronounciation was absolutely clear as well as his voice. His voice caught my attention as most cabin crew's cabin information were hardly clear to hear.
I do agree with you. Usually, Wizzair cabin crew speak really good English. That's something that you don't value so much on a cabin crew member until you find one that is really struggling with it....

To have a huge amount of subscribers nowadays on UA-cam is not as important as it was some years ago when it was absolutely key. Of course, it's still important and is a good indicator of the channel's size but that's pretty much it.

Lo que más me encanta de viajar en avión es cuando se dá esos vuelos al amanecer o en el ocaso del día que no puedes ver esos cambios de colores en el cielo de otra manera sino a bordo o estando en una montaña muy alta, cosa que no es fácil para cualquier ser humano y estando a bordo del avión n°100 de WizzAir tuviste doble privilegio jejejejeje, excelente vuelo.

Totalmente de acuerdo! Lo mejor de viajar en avión son esos momento al amanecer en los que el 99% del avión va durminedo, silencio total en la cabina, y al otro lado de la ventanilla colores como los que tuve la suerte de grabar en este vídeo. Es algo realmente impresionante.
La verdad es que está fue la segunda vez que volé en el A321 Airbus Nº 100 de Wizzair jaja El vídeo que tengo del vuelo inahugural de Wizzair en la ruta Vienna-Madrid es también en es mismo avión, pero en esa ocasión no pude sacarle un bueno foto para la miniatura.
En cualquier caso, me alegra que te haya gustado. La verdad es que creo que este es uno de los mejores vídeos que hay hasta la fecha en el canal.

La verdad es que fue un vuelo precioso y muy sencillo de grabar: vistas preciosas, atmósfera abstante limpia, ventanillas sin rayazos.... Lo disfruté mucho. Quizás ahí radique el motivo por el que quedó un buen vídeo!

Fantástico vídeo, me encanta los colores de esa compañía tanto el interior como el exterior de sus aviones y ese precioso amanecer y los siempre eternos Alpes nevados son magníficos. La verdad es que tuve bastante suerte con todo en ese vuelo: una luz magnífica, las ventanillas estaban en perfecto estado, no hubo turbulencias durante los mejores momentos... Fue un vuelo muy muy entretenido y agradable.

Hola gracias por un nuevo video me encantó. Y tambien queria decirte yo vole con un Airbus 321 de la compania vueling pero los asientos son un poco malos digamos yo tuve q hacer un vuelo de GranCanaria hasta Barcelona de 2 Horas y algo y despues de Barcelona hasta el aeropuerto de Catania-Sicilia de 2 Horas tambien y cuando salia cada vez del avion me dolia trasero. Que otra compania me recomiendas?

Pues la vedad es que yo siempre he tenido buenas experiencias con Wizzair, Ryanair y Easyjet. si bien con vueling también, habitualmente suelo volar en las filas delanteras que tienen un poco más de espacio para las piernas.

Hi Lucas. Great video. The shots over the mountains were spectacular and the landing , with the dark sky , when you got out of the cloud covering was class . Just on a different point . I use to work shift work as airport ground staff and I always feel sorry for the staff who have to work those very early shifts, both air and ground staff to look after pax on those early flights. They are hard shifts to get up for..lol..but great video..cheers, g

La verdad es que hay demasiadas en Vienna ahora mismo. No van a sobrevivir todas al próximo invierno, esa es mi opinión. Veremos qué pasa. Desde luego, esta situación es la mejor para los pasajeros puedes se puede volar muy barato a esta ciudad.

Los destinos de los aviones que están en puerta de embarque son fácilmente identificables en las pantallas de información del aeropuerto. Además, siempre puedo mirar la matrícula del avión en FlightRadar24.

My corporate clients give Wizzair a bad name, and they use them out of necessity. Your video has changed my opinion. Great work despite the very, very early start for you!
You know, I think it's basically the same with all low-cost airlines (particularly Ryanair and Wizzair in Europe). They carry millions and millions and millions of passengers per year. It's normal that every airline will screw some flights, statistically, it's impossible that all flights will arrive on time etc. But with these airlines that move so many passengers, even that probably in % is similar to all others, in reality, there are a lot more because there is a similar % of a bigger amount.
I've learned when I did my Business degree that, always, an unsatisfied client will make more noise than 1.000 satisfied clients.
Then, there is that common idea that the low-cost's should offer the same service (with the same "extras") as a legacy carrier, that is charging 4 or 5 times per ticket... Among many other things.
So if you put all that together, the result is that "the low-cost airlines are the worse ever...". Which just not true, and it's not me who says that, but the billions of passengers transported every year by low-cost airlines that are satisfied.
Anyway, I'm sorry for all this rant... I'm really glad that you've changed your opinion thanks to this video and that you'eve enjoyed it.

This was a completely normal landing without any problem. The A380 operates regularly to Vienna.

Es moderno y muy bonito.
No, no, en el minuto 11:15 aún ni habíamos entrado en España.
El radar meteorológico del avión, para decirlo en lenguaje coloquial, detecta gotitas de agua, que es de lo que están formadas las nubes, en contra de lo que piensa la mayoría de gente: las nubes no son vapor de agua, son gotitas de aguas diminutas.
El caso, cuanto más turbulencia presenta una nube (corrientes ascendentes y descendentes) mayores son las gotas de agua que contiene (pues se van haciendo cada vez más grandes al ir chocando con otras gotitas dentro de la propia nube) sin que lleguen a precipitar, pues las propias corrientes de aire las mantienen dentoro de la nube. Esto aplica al granizo también.
Así pues, lo que detecta el radar del avión es cómo de grandes son esas gotas de agua y, en función de eso, puede saber como de peligrosa es una nube y la turbulencia asociada a la misma.
Del funcionamineto básico de un radar meteorológico de un avión se puede entender porque la turbulencia en aire limpio no se puede detectar: no hay gotitas de agua que medir.

I always hear and read bad reviews about WizzAir, especially about their customer service. But every time I watch your WizzAir trip report it shows that they’re very cool airline to fly with. A321: my love and arrow to work&freedom. a working mule which took us everywhere, safely, cheaply. IMO, the best you could get for money or love. of course, there were the 340 (my eternal queen of the skies) and the "aircraft carrier", A380. now, we got the NEOs. AirBus: we love you, unconditionally!! period.

La verdad es que yo le encuentro bastante encanto. No me importa que sea antigua, ni que esté un pelín descuidada. La verdad es que me siento muy a gusto cuando paso por allí.
Tal vez es por los buenos recuerdos que me trae siempre, pero me parece que, a pesar de ser vieja, está mucho mejor que muchísimos aeropuertos de Europa equivalentes.
Después de haber viajado por más de 80 aeropuertos Europeos puedo asegurar que deberíamos valorar más los preciosos aeropuertos que tenemos por toda la geografía Española, sin ir más lejos, la T4 de Madrid, la T1 de Barcelona, el aeropuerto de Málaga... son aeropuertos punteros en Europa, sin lugar a duda.

Sí, hay transporte desde Viena, pero yo llego siempre desde Bratislava, desde donde también hay transporte al aeropuerto de Viena por la noche para los primeros vuelos de la mañana.
Planeas algún viaje hacia/desde Viena? :)

No obstante, si deseas ahorrarte la última noche de hotel, la verdad es que el aeropuerto de Viena es muy bueno para la última pernocta si tu vuelo sale tan temprano, especialmente la zona de puertas F, en donde hay un montón de sofás pensado para tumbarse (tal vez no de noche, pero cumplen la función de cama perfectamente).

A propósito de las turbulencias, una vez conocí un piloto de LATAM CARGO, que, cuando le tocaba volar con un capitán específico, decía que se metían en las turbulencias porque les encantaban. No sé si será verdad, pero es lo que decía jejeje
Ese piloto te mintió o no debería tener licencia.

Me recuerda a los vuelos a Lanzarote al atardecer y anochecer con Vueling en A320, siempre me siento en la parte de las alas y otras veces justo enfrente del motor y se ve como centellea y se refleja sobre el motor la luz anticolision del vientre justo al lado de las trampillas del tren principal, y las luces de navegación de la punta de las alas, en vuelo de crucero de noche apaga casi todas las luces y solo se ve la de la punta de las alas y la luz anticolision del vientre centelleando todo el rato, cuando hace la aproximación y aterrizaje se ve reflejadas las luces de aterrizaje de la parte inferior de las alas sobre el carenado de los motores y brevemente la sombra de las trampillas cuando baja el tren
