  • The sudden death of former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, 68, has taken the nation by surprise. He suffered a heart attack on Thursday and passed away in Shanghai just after midnight local time. In his decade as premier, Mr Li steered the world's second-largest economy through multiple headwinds, including a trade war with the US, growing government debt and unemployment, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. Observers said Mr Li's time in office is associated with the stability he brought to the economy. Low Minmin reports.

    Coming is empty, going is empty.
    All comings & goings are empty.
    But *One's True Nature* neither goes;
    Nor comes, neither moves nor stays.
    It neither increases nor decreases.
    It's ever lasting and *Truly Eternal!*
    *Ahh look!!* The Sun always rises;
    In the East and sets in the West!
    The sky is blue, clouds are white.
    Trees are green, Mr Li Keqiang RIP.
    😊🙏🙇‍♂️🌷

    Premier Li Keqiang had earned a PhD in Economics and had developed his own "Economic Indicators". I saw him roll up his sleeves and sit at a table with representatives from China's other 8 Parties. (The ones not allowed to hold power!).
    In his "Farewell Address", Premier Li Keqiang said: "The eyes of Heaven see everything."
    If, as I suspect, his death was NOT a Natural one, then the "eyes of Heaven saw that too"!
    Li Keqiang, Rest In Peace, Comrade!

    Senior Chinese Communist Party officials, even those retired, receive regular monthly health checks. Given this, it's somewhat surprising to hear of the sudden heart attack of their just "retired" PM. When you consider the numerous high-profile cases of unexpected deaths under the leadership in the old USSR/today's Russia or North Korea, one might wonder what really happened

      It is very fishy for several reasons.
      1. He was sent to a traditional Chinese medicine hospital for emergency rescue, not one with experience of Heart Attack rescue.
      2. There is a top tier hospital affiliated with Fudan University nearby, which is actually much closer than the hospital he was actually sent to. Why skip this hospital?
      3. Heart attack has a 90% survival rate for people over 60 if the patients are treated within 2 hours. But such a high profile figure died even after immediate treatment?
      4. He is not known to have heart disease history. And these officials all have a medical team with them 24/7.
      Very unusual!

    Former Primer Li has a history of cadi related health problems, it's not in public, his own family members were against him for holding public office. People abroad certainly don't know it. Li is good at economics, but some ideas are far fetched, for example, 1) asking mass people (especially young graduates) to make a living as street vendors. Even NY city police won't allow it. 2) ask mass young graduates to become entrepreneurs with a little bit government funding. This policy lead to many problems, such as funding of replicate and repetitive companies at every level, many companies can not survive to formal product making and marketing stage. Waste lots government funding, also created over crowded market. The EV market in China is in similar situation now.

      1) if people has no jobs, working as street vendors is better than unemployment.
      2) I don't think it is easier to get money from government in any country in the world.
