U have to taste your flour mixture then add extra seasoning as needed before you put fish in, a little cornmeal with the flour works.

You need cornmeal and mustard as binder and garlic powder with some Tony’s

Try getting some fat head minnows. They don’t get as big. I also find crappie biting more on smaller minnows, and baits
