Hi Naomi :) the flap at the back of the trench coat is called a "storm shield". I personally love it! It gives ventilation to prevent sweating between the shoulders. ;) (and I think it looks so darn stylish/sophisticated. Hope this answered your question :)

@@gbolt1403 Am based in South Africa and I buy secondhand clothes which I think are donated from Europe. Since they are affordable for me I then realised that I actually don't have t-shirt as I prefer to buy new ones but for some reason are more expensive than my thrifted clothes.☺

I paused the video and smuggled my boyfriend's white long sleeve shirt into my bag...
I disagree on these. Although it is true that for example a white blouse or a black blazer will never be out of style. The shape and style/fit do change over the years. It's not that you can keep them for years and years. My investment leather jacket of 20 years ago is hopelessly out of style now, just as my trech coat.
I do love the pieces you show and think you should indeed have these in your wardrobe, just updated every few years.

I'm going to be a mom and drop a line about fast fashion.
What you have in your wardrobe is great and you don't need to change it out, unless you need work clothes.
Of course, if you want to continuously get clothes, its a personal choice. But if you're trying to help the environment, don't get any or buy secondhand. No matter how ethical a brand is, this is always more environmentally friendly.

John Smith They are scammers! Look at their advertisements and then look at the recent news on them about union busting. The clothes are way overpriced for the quality. They are prioritizing shipments based on their profits rather than your order date. Poor communication with customers, EXTREME shipment delays and delays on refunds...look at the company reviews on google. This is just a poorly ran, unethical company.
