I’m a 21 y/o mom of 2 kids both under the age of 2. For a while I’ve been feeling like I “lost myself” but watching your videos really motivates me to want to start dressing nice. So thank you Naomi for that!

I’m 65 and I tell you it is worth it! Wearing different clothes makes a difference. And all it has to be is Leggings (so you can run) a cute shirt ( for you to feel human.) T shirts don’t count. Concealer and lipstick ; you know if it’s optional or not…😁

OMG!! People are so sensitive! 🙄 this is just an advice video that YOU clicked on. The people who are commenting that she is stuck up cuz she said that certain looks are sloppy are just mad cuz they probably dress sloppy on the regz. I find she gave great tips and is very sweet. If you dont like this just go to the next one! Geez

Well I dress 'sloppy' a lot. And that's just how I like it. I don't have a stick up my butt about what Naomi said... That's the look I'm going for, and for my personal style and liking, I think it looks good on me, and I look good everyday. But she clearly talks about more put together, elegant looks and I think it's great advice for those interested in that kind of look and for me too, if I want to dress more elegant, sophisticated one day. Doesn't mean cowl neck top (which I love) looks bad. Depends what kind of look you're going for. People get very worked up in many of her videos about her being judgemental etc but why take this so personal? We all have our own style and can make certain things work for ourselves and look like a million dollars. But certain pieces are obviously more stylish, classic and timeless and it's almost guaranteed they'll look good and elegant on anyone, any day. The rest of it you need to know how to work it to your advantage and maybe it will be as success and maybe a disaster outfit. People use your brain, take the advice if you feel like it could help but don't bash the girl. This is good advice. It doesn't offend anyone who chooses to dress differently.

Congiary - first off you have to realize when people are like that with others , they're even more like that with themselves. Advertising has unfortunately made us feel this way. It is a noble effort to rally the troops by looking your best. I like to look my best, but I am not willing to crazy over it. And I know the secret: the more real looking, the more beautiful, for longer. And that's something only health and love can do.

Ladies you all need to remember this is HER tips on how SHE dresses ... although she could have said things differently when she mentioned the tucking in the shirt part, instead of saying it looks messy when it’s not tucked in she could’ve said it suits HER better.. not all females are slim and can tuck in their shirt but that doesn’t mean they’re messy they are still beautiful and can still dress... besides that I’ve seen so many females that don’t use any of these tips yet looked stunning in what they wear. REMEMBER THAT NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL IN WHATEVER YOU WANT TO WEAR . Btw there’s no hate here you keep doing you boo cause you’re still killing the game as all of us are as well. But please guys let’s spread positivity instead of putting each other down. We are ALL beautiful (:

Interesting point about the necklines in t-shirts and sweaters, however the reason why some girls don’t tuck their top in is because that will accentuate their stomach area, and not everybody is comfortable with that. If you have a nice waist and flat stomach, sure, otherwise sometimes it looks better covered up.

I totally get what you mean, but one thing i like to do is to tuck the top not in the front, but on one side . So the bellyarea is covered but your legs still look a bit elongated. Give it a try! :)

Yessss! I was the tee shirt queen and never had anything when I wanted to look more put together. I forced myself to limit tee shirts to just a few in black, grey, white, and a black & white striped and focused more on nicer basics, mostly neutral colors, layering, and embraced a more minimalist wardrobe that is timeless and chic. Your videos have really helped me during that process. Thanks 🙌🏽

Thanks Naomi! I keep your tips in mind when shopping. My clothes are so old and I have lots of piece regrets or things people bought for me that I don’t like but felt bad about taking back. Naomi these are amazing tips and you explained them so well. I will definitely take away structure. I never thought of structure from that point of view. When people talk about structure, they always talk about waist and shoulders but never the neckline. And when I think about it, there are tops that are so uncomfortable that I think twice about before leaving the house and that’s because of their neckline.
I think also remembering to have at least one shape-wear undergarment for outfits that need it or to hide the baby fat for mums makes a huge difference to my outfits after having been through three kids. It makes all the difference. And one other vey important thing that has nothing to do with clothes - keep on top of that unwanted facial hair: eyebrows, upper lip, chin. ❤️
You always look amazing and you’ve inspired me to keep my wardrobe classic. ❤️

Love the tip about tucking g in shirts! I work in a cafe so wear a black t shirt and black Jeans and always felt like my midsection looked very "block" shaped, like my sides went straight down rather than having an actual waistline while wearing my black tshirt down over my Jeans. Watched one of your videos for the first time yesterday, tucked in my shirt today and oh my goodness the difference was insane! My jeans waistband sits just below my belly button, and I found tucking it it just gave the appearance of a cinched waist, so I have a bit more shape. I am a mama of a one year old little girl, who is sick of having rushed makeup, undone hair and slouchy, stretched out clothes (from wearing while pregnant, everyone told me I wouldn't fit anything I own after having her so I wore them as long as I could with a growing belly...more loose skin and stretch marks, but size wise I was back to normal withing 2-3 weeks and all my pre pregnancy clothes were ruined 😭😂) I'm now subscribed and ready to learn how to look more put together, my confidence and happiness with myself definitely took a hit from not looking my best, so I'm ready to get all that back again!

Just discovered your channel! I love how you address moms in this. Before my daughter came 6 months ago as a young college girl I would have rolled my eyes and now as a new mom I think it’s so thoughtful of you!
My question is - when working at home I feel guilty for a full face of makeup. Before my baby I wore a full face every day. False lashes. Everything. During my pregnancy I was sick a lot and really stopped wearing makeup for the first time in my life! Now I feel guilty for wearing makeup verses letting my skin breathe and heal if I’m say just at home. How do you balance skincare or the opportunity for your skin to be natural with wearing a full face for just at home?
    Thanks and loved your tips!

Great advice on the use of a tailor! I am petite with a large bust, small waist, larger butt and wide hips. I size up to fit the largest area and then take my clothes to the tailor to cinch in the waist and shorten the cuff/hemline if needed. The result is a polished look and worth the extra $$.

i like this but just a little something i’d like to state is that it should be:
if you feel good in the inside, you’ll look good on the outside.
however this doesn’t mean that you’re statement, which was the other way around was anywhere off the mark. i too feel good when i know that im looking good. i just hope that, on days that someone doesn’t look conventionally good, they don’t feel bad and have low self confidence just because of that.
