DeAnne Roberts usually, I use Italian bread crumbs but I ran out of the time, so I used these along with some grated Romano and Italian seasoning and it came out just fine :)
We make our bread crumbs using our home-baked bread. My wife and I were married in Sally Jesse Raphael's house in 1991. My wife is 13 years older than I am and I still say I love you each and every day.
Thanks so much for the video! I did this, except I baked them for around 20 minutes instead of 30, and I put them in a blender and it turned out amazing! Perfect recipe! :)
I put my fresh Bread in a Brown Paper Bag & close it up & in a few Days the Brear becomes Dry & hard ready to grind up into fresh Bread crumbs also Thanks for Sharing Jenny love all of your Easy Recipes etc.
Wow! Thank you! I never knew that panko is actually soft breadcrumbs that are dried out! I'll save so much money and time and eat healthier! Thank you.
I did a method halfway between the two you showed! I toasted the bread in a toaster, so it was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, and then put it in the food processor. It took a little longer in the processor but it worked out great!
Thanks Jenny. Looks like an easy recipe. Thanks so much for posting. I used to watch your show, and.. a few mths back, I noticed you have your own cooking show now. Good for you. love your recipes btw.
"toast 3 slices of bread let it cool on a tray than cut it into small pieces and throw them in the blender. I'll try doing that to see if it works cause I don't have a oven & I want to make the oven version.😅
Jenny, Your tips about frying homefries is spot on. I don't have my late grandma's restaurant flat top grill anymore. When she sold the restaurant years ago, we no longer had access to it. And I couldn't remember how she and my mom done them at home. But they both had good gas stoves. So if I can achieve good results on a old yucky electric coil stove in a rental. Anyone can.
While Jenny can cook, clearly Telboy Can't Cook, I tried this, I finished up with a pile consisting of bread dust mixed with concrete type chippings, which would have been great for laying a drive but not so good on my Schnitzels. I have a Kenwood food processor too! the problem I thing is that some of the bread here in the UK is a very doughy consistency which tends to dry out like wood chips when baked in the oven. Out local supermarket sells a box of natural breadcrumbs for less than £1 so I think I will use my left over bread for Bread Pudding from now on!
You did a wonderful job explaining things the younger generation doesn't understand what it means to save money view by a bag of bread crumbs ill cost you approximately $4, Can anyway thanks taste better when they're homemade when you take the time to make it and set it on a table it brings joy and laughter and happiness for your friends and your family and you appreciate it better that you say the live in a money every bit of change spreadd to something else special you want to buy
Hi Jenny I always enjoy watching your show and learn new things Thanks I have some problem when I make home made ice cream then freez it when I am ready to eat I noticed sparkly ice in when I eat that ice cream I felt I am eating just plain crunchy ice why it's happening and how can I get smooth texture just like store bought ice cream any advice, tip I will greatly appreciate your time Thanks

Jenny you crack me up you're the best thank you honey!!
If you wanted to add seasoning at what point would you do that? Thanks for sharing.
I add my seasonings after the bread is dry. I put the seasonings in the food processor along with the dried bread and spin away.
