This reminds me of a D&D campaign I was in years ago. The DM was new to the game and when he saw all the rooms and mechanics in the dungeon he was running he decided it was too much reading, so he just moved all the monsters to the dungeon entrance. We walked in, he said roll initiative then made attacks for like 70 monsters. We were level 1. It did not go well... 😂
Dungeons 1 from Kalypso tried to do something similar waaaay back, but it was more into Dungeon Keeper style (You tried to satisfy heroes by letting them loot your dungeon, defeat your monsters etc. But when they were satisfied enough, you hunted them down and imprisoned / sacrificed them to get your resources back and to get special resources). It was interesting concept but would need a bit more polishing, and it probably was not so popular so in Dungeons 2 and 3 they went fully into "Build dungeon and defend it + eventually attack the heroes bases on the surface". Which is great, I love those game, they are on my top tier games to play and recommend. But it is also nice to see that the concept of the 1st game is explored more by other developers. I wish them luck and strength to succeed.
😅 I found it a bit funny you taking the gold all after reading in the beginning that the souls level your monsters. Bit a different way to do things but im here for it 😂
That was confusing to watch tbh. Like no judgement slips happen but he seems to repeatedly do this with games.. Missing important mechanics and just not really showcasing everything..
Imagine developing a game like this except based on the SAW universe. You play as an apprentice (or copycat) of John Kramer, a terminally ill man whose only ambition is to coax people to appreciate being alive. Only…you could actually go full evil (as some SAW characters no doubt are, albeit they're contestants!)!
some of the best dungeons in gaming are the interior spaces of castles or forts or even mundane shit like office buildings. what are those but dungeons built in a space?

You can make your monsters stronger by enhancing them with the Souls. I would love to see you level up the boss monster in the last room.

I'm impressed. I played until I unlocked all that they currently have available and I could see this game having some meat and bones.
This game looks interesting, hopefully you can make the dungeons harder and harder

Yeah it was a little frustrating but interesting to watch
Spike traps in front of the potion dispenser and chest? :)

When does this come out ?
This looks fun
If they can make it where we can make dungeons like FATE I think that would be epic!
Could you have changed the spider spawner to spawn slimes instead?
Seems interesting, but the no save makes getting past the first few minutes difficult.
This is a demo after all
@@INCDZONE no reason not to include a save feature. Unless the demo is the full game minus saving.
Building rooms in a empty space is not a dungeon.

yes is end the world >:-]
