Great tips Karen! I’m on it! You will enjoy the card deck kits. One of the fun things is to play with the card block patterns putting them together to create a secret block!

Hi Karen, Thanks for sharing your getting organized video. I have to admit that at times we all get crazy with our fabrics and feel overwhelmed. What I have found that really helps me is LABELING ALL OF MY CONTAINERS. I'm blessed to be a fairly organized person due to the type of work life I had before my retirement. Lots and lots of paper forced me to make sure I could put my hands on stuff when I needed. So, good luck in your organizing journey. Have a blessed and Happy New Year in 2025. Alberta from Southern, MD......😏😏😏
I am basically a person who requires organization to be creative. I do not go to bed without my craft room and house tidy. Not obsessive. Just tidy. That way when I wake up in the morning I feel relaxed. I also story my scraps by color. Just primary colors and black and white in bins. When the bins get too full I make something or I donate them to a group that makes kennel quilts for the Animal Shelter.
Good luck to you Karen. I admire what you are doing, I myself just keep walking over my piles. I just can't bring myself to start on any pile, so I'm sewing. I have gone in my room for two weeks avoiding all of it.😊
Hello Karen. I would like to say how much I enjoy learning from you. I am in the process of designing and organizing my new sewing room. I have messaged you regarding your sewing machine shaped notion holder. I was just successful in locating one for myself. Thank you very much for answering my inquiry so promptly. Keep up the great content.
I enjoyed the content of this video as I truly need to be doing the same thing. I love the scrappy quilt you hung on your wall. I also like the pattern you have been laying out on your table, could you share??
Why not a decluttering channel for all of us with you the teacher?❤I started to throw away small pieces which I have never done before but 2025 is a new year😂
Great idea for decluttering. I cleaned my space yesterday. I still need to just vacuum my carpet under my chair. It is black and I can see all the cut small thread. The items I want to keep but not using, I stored in my attic. You are right. After looking at my fabric, I am setting a goal, no more fabric. I have to make 2 quilts to give away before I buy fabric for one quilt. The same rule for my closet, I have to donate 2 pieces before I can buy one piece. This keeps my closet decluttered. Now my yarn rule I need to stop buying yarn. I have limited storage. I donate my crocheted items to hospitals. and the homeless population.
it would add to viewing pleasure if you used a mic. when the adverts come on they blast me out of the room, so if you are a little louder, no adjustments to sound would need to be made constantly

Love this room! Beautiful quilts. Thank you for sharing.
I definitely need to get some decluttering and organizing done in my sewing room. Thank you for the inspiration.
I received a set of block builder cars and a thread cutter among other things for Christmas from my kids.
@@jacquelineblack5801 lol I guess our children had a meeting lol
I also received the #2 quilt builder card deck. There are actually three. Both our daughters did a great job this year for Christmas.
