      Hey, I hope your kidney cancer has gone into remission. ❤️ My sister was diagnosed with Liver cancer last year, and she’s only 54. I hope they can find cures for cancer and diseases as there’s to many people in this world have died. I wish you the best!

    I saw Bostin’s blood work years ago when he got his blood work done with enhanced labs and he had sever kidney issues, high and abnormal readings on several markers. He was unhealthy for years and denied it while promoting a careless lifestyle that others followed.

    I’m so glad to know it was a genetic predisposition and not steroids. He needed tests and he just had really bad genetics

    I think the progression from this episode would be to get Dorian on and discuss what he did to bodybuilding and his successful transition to in downsizing and living a life beyond bodybuilding both physically and mentally

    The high blood pressure and ped use definitely was detrimental to Bostin’s condition but it was more than that. He ran a super high dose of FTTP. Rodent studies showed it caused acute kidney failure and kidney lesions. Bostin had an ultrasound and it showed cysts on his kidneys. As for his father’s/his genetic condition. Bostin was a personal friend of mine and a great guy but he was reckless and there was absolutely no convincing him to do something he didn’t want to do. I’m sure his dad advised him to get tests done to check for the dissecting aorta and he more than likely blew it off.

    • @johnromano2913
      @johnromano2913 2 роки тому +4

      He did blow it off. His dad had urged him to get it checked. He could have had it fixed, like his dad did. But, you're right, he blew it off. Bostin died on his own terms. Gotta give him that. As selfish as it is.

      I only knew him for a couple years but it was hard to tell with him if he was really that irresponsible or if was more of an act for the public to keep up the crazy cavalier persona he was known for.

      I’m friends with his father and Bostin was the homie. 100% The peptide killed him. He was in acute kidney failure within days of taking it. you will never hear Jon say it was his genetic condition.

    • @GuruDaveSmith
      @GuruDaveSmith 2 роки тому +1

      Yeah I 100% agree the FTTP put the proverbial and I hate to use this analogy in this horrible situation but nail in the coffin in regard to his kidneys. People with kidney failure generally do die from heart issues. But kidney failure wouldn’t cause a dissecting aorta. The high blood pressure would I’m sure absolutely hasten it rupturing. It’s like people who have a congenital defect in the abdominal which progresses to a hernia from lifting weights. The defect was always there, the lifestyle just brought it to light

    A Dr Cooper from the 1970s who popularised jogging etc and said at the time marathon runners are immune from heart attacks. Later he changed his opinion after seeing many athletes having heart conditions. He put it down to the high oxidative stress from strenuous exercise especially the really serious runners. But he noticed Joe Blow who jogged 2miles three times a week was usually in better health. Those training for performance is very different to health. He then established high dose antioxidant protocols from athletes to Joe Blow, the more serious usually the higher doses of antioxidants which he said prevented oxidative stress from exercise. I think it was dr Kenneth Cooper??

    The big reason Bostin and others who’ve died in the bodybuilding world NOW from the bodybuilding world back in the Lee Haney and Dorian Yates era; as we all know is a SOCIAL MEDIA presence. Getting those “clicks and subscribers” on their page and building their fan base. If there was no social media availability, it’s safe to say, Bostin Loyd would be alive today because he probably wouldn’t be taking crazy amounts of d rugs because the internet world wouldn’t know who he is. IMO 💪💪

    Bostin Monga Lloyd was destined to wind up dead with the garbage he was taking. He always pushed his cycles to the limit and it caught up with him in the end. The moral of the story is “Dont bend for a friend or you’ll get it in the end”.

    Gaspari only took a gram when he was competing for the Olympia lol. Jay Cutler only took a gram a week to look like he did hahaha. Bodybuilders are pathological liars

    • @bboichirok661
      @bboichirok661 2 роки тому

      They actually aren’t lying ,I was present in the gym scene in the 90s and they were using high grade pharmacy gear then , you guys think there isn’t a difference when I can honestly tell you from my own experience there is . I have never seen anyone in these gyms today come anywhere near close to the guys I’ve trained with in 1997 through 1999 facts! These guys now take boat loads of shit then have to tell you they are competing for you to know . There is also a genetic component as well these newer guys fail to rule out. Because if it wasn’t then everyone using grams of gear a week and training etc would all get the same results . I know natural guys like my uncle and a few other who even look better than these gear heads today using all of this undersides bathtub garbage.
