I feel like a quake reboot should have a blend of both Quake 1 and 2. It begins with fighting the Strogg in a typical sci-fi action story plot of Quake 4, but a quarter into it, reality itself begins to degrade as some unknown eldritch entity begins invading, destroying both conflicting sides while leaving the main protagonist alive and confused as he attempts to survive hordes of both the remaining Strogg and hell-ish monsters while trying to find the underlying cause to all this.
this dude is a visionary, workhorse, and inspiration. I can listen to these amazing tracks and HEAR the love you put into them. From Quake 2 riffs, to the ability to musically caricature some(thing) is an outlandish skill. I salute you .
that is sooooo perfect, as a huge fan of all the quakes but especially the strogg quake games: quake 2, quake wars, quake 4 and everything strogg I gotta say this song hits the nail perfectly! and the homage to descent into cerberon is beautiful!
Just did a replay of Q4 on hard, the Makron was a pushover but I couldnt figure out how to destroy the core so I ended up in a war of attrition with the strogg constantly thinking "when will this end?!"
Smashed it out of the park again matey. Edit: I like the blend of industrial and metal in this song quite a lot. Reminds me of your Vyper track a little bit. Your tuning and distortion is spot on. Raw and dirty enough without sounding muddy.
OMG, I hope youl will be composing soundtrack for new DOOM games along with Hulshult, that would be absolutely epic. This soundtrack is insanity. Amazing work.
But with more of Shub-Niggurath and her children, and maybe Cthulhu ..... idk how it would fit, but it was just a thought ..... ALSO IT NEEDS TO FOCUS ON CAMPAIGN FIRST, AND NOT A MULTIPLAYER-ONLY GAME LIKE QUAKE CHAMPIONS, i was so sad when it came out with no campaign, even a continuation of Quake 2 and 4's story would've been good ..... just ..... i, or we, (im sure some of u guys wanted a campaign) didnt want a quake 3 with better graphics.

If only there was a new campaign-based Quake game, something on par with Doom 4, to continue the stories of both Q1 tie it in with Q2/4's greater universe. Expand the Quake galaxy a bit - introduce some more alien races; bring some new Elder Gods into it - beings filling the power vacuum left by Shub-Niggurath after Ranger killed her; maybe have something with finding a planet totally consumed by Elder God corruption. Heck, have the Stroggs and extradimensional horrors meet.
