I think I’m gonna switch to PS5 because Xbox still can’t be bothered to make the Rev lights work on the CSL elite (my wheel too) and in 2021 that’s just not ok for what we pay.
Reason for asking is because I am trying to buy a Fanatec CSL with the PS wheel, unfortunately due to low funds I have to go 2nd hand. WRC10 with the g29 is prob the most accurate game I have plaid on it, so I am sure with a Fanatec it should be out of this world.

My wheel works with PS5 as well. However it's not picking up my pedals. How did you get your pedals to show up on the PS5? Clubsport v3 to be specific. Those work like a charm on PC though.
I just ensured I had my pedals connected to my wheel base and only the wheel base USB connected to PS5.. and ensure the pedal's USB isn't connected to any device.
That is very unfortunate. It is a fairly old wheel now. You could see if it works when any of the other Thrustmaster wheels are selected as a controller type. But hey, now might be a good time to jump ship to Fanatec! Go the GT DD PRO if you can afford it.
I push my rig to the left when not in use. There is sometimes some obstacles to the left that it could hit, as well as I kept hitting my leg on the shifter when navigating the room. So just wanted to protect it. I don't have it wrapped anymore.
Okay I have a CSL Elite base for some reason it's not working with my PS5 ...at least not GT7...so anything you can tell me to do that I can get this wheel base to work ...I have did the button swap for color blue for Playstation and the lights come on the steering wheel but no control I'm the steering of the cars...also my pedals don't work as well.. I know the DD Pro Base is the way to go for GT7...was trying to avoid the 600 dollars and use what I got...these items Fanatec make are not cheap hell when I got the CSL Elite it was over 700 bucks smh peddles A3 well over 1000..

No, the Fanatec CSL v1.1 is not officially compatible with the PS5. The PS5 requires a wheelbase with a specific security chip for compatibility, which the CSL v1.1 lacks.
I've upgraded to the GT DD Pro, but the CSL was going strong all the way up to the upgrade.. sold the CSL while still in perfect running condition. Still racing but been taking a few weeks off most recently.
The Clubsport F1 rim works for me with this, on GTsport to say the least. However not all buttons work with GTsport... Not sure about Codemasters F1 or other games.

Be sure you've tried each of the USB ports on the PS5. Be sure your pedals USB isn't still plugged into your PC when using on the PS5. Be sure the pedals are connected to the wheel by the direct cable. Last but not least, remember to press the PS button and then X on your wheel after turning on the PS5 and the wheel. Not sure other than that. Maybe update the firmware of the wheel, although some people have issues after firmware updating to the current release.

I've read that the CSL Elite PS4 edition can be adapted to play on the PS3. I believe that it is done via Drivehub. Can you confirm this? Thanks.
Great it works. Do you use drive hub for the usb connections or usb hub?
I don't use any intermediate device. Direct from the wheel base USB to any one of the PS5's USB ports.

Yep, 100% works with GT7... The game has it in its controller menus.

What do you think about using snapdome keys to change fanatec p1 crowns? Is it reliable enough? I know some have had problems.

From memory you just push the mode button to cycle through the modes.. the led light should change to indicate the mode it is in.

Upgrade/reflash the firmware via PC should kick it back into gear (and give you the latest firmware too)
