Bravo! Absolutely Wonderful! She plays with such power, such beauty! She doesn't "play" the violin, she absolutely sings her heart and puts her soul into it! I have showed this video to many of my friends! They absolutely love her as well!
Sarah Chang makes this piece look easy. In reality, it's very hard, especially the 1st movement. She gets into her playing so much, it's enjoyable to watch.
No one but NO ONE plays this as well as Sarah Chang, such power and passion, watched it on youtube so many times and also seen her play it live,ohhhhhhh what magic that night was !! Nicola Benedetti played it at the last night of the proms in London a few weeks ago and it was so feeble and tame compared to Sarah playing it. I just love Sarah Chang to bits, absolutely brilliant violinist.
Glad to see a comment from someone who can appreciate the joy that Sarah Chang brings by her wonderful Violin playing, seen her play this live in London, just amazing !!. There are too many HATERS on youtube, whinging how poor the modern young violinist are compared to their ''GOD' Heifetz and the other old masters..( especially if they come from USA !! ) Its quite an insult to all the young Violinist's like Sarah Chang who have trained so hard since childhood to get to this level of skill !
@MrDavidyuan Having seen Sarah Chang play this live in London last year , I can say that unlike the modern day pop artist's, X factors, auto tune manufactured pop stars etc, Sarah is a truly great violinist and does the business in live performances where there are no hiding places, no miming or cheating required !!

Its funny that you would mention that, I hope you know that video was when was a high-school sophomore. And just letting you know the reason I go to USC is that too smart to go to a conservatory. At a conservatory I cant get a double major in biochemistry and music. And trust me, if you where better im sure you would have solod in carnegie hall at 15 or had a best selling recording at 18, but you dont.
