Let me explain one thing when you play with injuries. Even if one plays with pain killers and injections, the movement of the body generally gets slow with injuries. You won’t get that swift and quick movements from your body. I was actually observing Enzo very closely, he was being one notch slow in reacting or tackling the stuff all season. Even his shots or passes were always one speed below the required one. It was clearly not the Enzo we saw in first game against liverpool or in pre season. Now it has become clear why was he playing so. He will come back stronger in next season.

Two hernia surgeries here. I’ll just say this, it’s tolerable at first but gets worse and worse over time until it’s unbearable.
Sports hernias are brutal. Some days you feel fine but you tweak it just a little bit and you're in PAIN
6 to 12 weeks for full recovery from a bad sports Hernia. Not all season ....

After 2 seasons of mediocrity for Chelsea they'll be expected to now produce next season and finish comfortably in the top 4 possibly even close tot the title as this Boehly project will be 3 years in with 1.5 billion spent., I'm sure they'll go far in the cups again as that squad is packed, and as long as injuries don't kill them again they should be hitting mid or high 70+ points or possibly going for the title otherwise alarm bells will be ringing.
If you're "used to seeing Chelsea win big trophies", then you're definitely new to football in terms of history.
The difference is a lot of Chelsea’s new boys have been injured- I think like 600 million pounds worth of players have been playing less than 25% of games.

In all honesty when we signed the players we all thought that they would blow up, then at the start of the season (about first 18 games) we thought these players including Poch were s**t, then since Jan we slowly turned a corner and look where we are now, so let's just support our club and see how things go, these kids are slowly learning ❤❤❤❤

The reason taking Enzo out seemed to have helped is Connor Gallagher isnt taking Cole Palmer's spot as a 10 and Madueke has been a reliable RW. The team isn't getter without Enzo. it's better with Cole as a 10.

4th is a big target now.
There's 7 European spots and in the prem there's at least 8 clubs that want them. City and Arsenal are likely taking two. Liverpool probably another. Tottenham, Chelsea and Man Utd are expected to take three more but Newcastle and Aston Villa are emerging. Then there's outsiders like Brighton and West Ham upsetting things. That ends up 10 clubs that cannot fit into 7 spaces.
So to argue top 4 as a "bare minimum" is boarding on a pipe dream.
Chelsea starting to build something. Will likely finish 6th after being 11th for large part of the season. Still have Fofana, James, Colwill, Lavia and Nkunku to come back in fully (most probably start). Chelsea will break into top 4 next season and be challenging the season after.

Spurs spent the most last window behind Chelsea and are only 3 points above us on the final day. Keep in mind Chelsea have had an injury crisis. You can still get Conference league if Chelsea and Newcastle win and you lose to Sheffield. Villa took your UCL spot with hardly any money spent so use your own logic against yourself to Villa finishing above you👌🏼
