  • Sick of endless ‘re-orgs’, lay-offs and away days? Why do workplaces always go for quick wins and flashy paint jobs over steady, consistent change? Award-winning animator Jocie Juritz brings her trademark wit and creativity to the second animation extracted from Simon Sinek’s acclaimed RSA talk on organisational culture.
Voice: Simon Sinek, Global bestselling author and leadership guru
    Animation: Jocie Juritz
    Editing and Production: Abi Stephenson
Extracted from a free talk given at the RSA in London, 2016. Watch the full talk here: • Simon Sinek | Together...

I really love the part about how consistency builds up trust enables vulnerability. From fear to love. Thanks for this.

I watch this clip in full twice a year for intensity, and I also watch 1 minute a day of this clip for consistency.
Also: NEVER show this video to your wife/girlfriend! She'll start reminding you every day of all the little things you consistently do wrong! And once or twice per month, she will intensely argue with you about what you generally do wrong!

    So consistency > intensity
Im taking a new approach to my bodybuilding career
Cause ive had huge intentsity and grew alot in short period of time but its short term cause of burn out
Now looking farther away I will give all my intensity without a burn out

Off course there are the ones who have no intentsity in their consistency
Those who go to the gym for years but no results

It's arbitrary to the content ..if the video is 30sec with this content then it's intensity..

This is one of those simple, but incredibly effective ideas that can change your life! It impacted mine in a major way and also inspired me to write this blog post: optimizemy.life/wednesday-wisdom/intensity-vs-consistency/

This has too much of a "this is a good idea because it's good for business" vibe to it. Consistency IS important, but not because it's good for business. Because it's good for society.

you must have missed the point of the talk. Its only at the end he identifies a branch of the benefits that directly ties to business even though he didnt explain exactly how, you kind of get the idea

The cartoon about the getting into shape thing is quite misleading and belittling of bodybuilders tbh Being a huge bodybuilder is all about consistency - and this is coming from someone who really should go to the gym more often.

Actually he is. "Sinek was born in Wimbledon, England, and as a child lived in Johannesburg, London and Hong Kong before settling in the United States." And if you want the visible proof, go to the video linked in the blurb at the top. This segment starts around 22.35.
