In New Super Mario Bros. U, Roy Koopa is the sixth boss of Rock-Candy Mines. He is on the crow’s nest of his airship and he has a cannon used to shoot Bullet Bills or Missile Bills at Mario to take away his power ups during his battle.
ROY KOOPA’S WEAKNESS:
The moving platforms disappear above the crow’s nest when the player jumps onto Roy Koopa’s head.
Fire Mario burns Roy Koopa from using his cannon and jumping onto the moving platforms.
Ice Mario can freeze Bullet Bills shot from the cannon but not Roy Koopa to throw the ice blocks at him three times.

Roy’s life is Minecraft.
Roy Koopa is now the boss of the sixth world, Rock-Candy Mines. He has a giant cannon above his shoulder instead of wielding a magic wand and the area outside of the airship for his battle is the crow’s nest instead of the interior.
The battle begins when the screen zooms out and the moving platforms appear above the mid-air.
Roy Koopa stomps his foot onto the surface first and fires Bullet Bills out of his cannon that pushes him backward but he dosen’t fall off the stage.
Roy Koopa can jump onto the moving platforms in the mid-air and he can also shoot out Missile Bills that home onto players before they explode.
The moving platforms disappear when the player jumps onto Roy Koopa’s head, shooting fireballs and throwing ice blocks at him.
He spins in his shell in opposite directions that comes out and jumps higher and stomps on both feet causing more Bullet Bills to shoot out both sides out of his cannon when the moving platforms reappear in the mid-air.
3:19 "maybe there's a Switch in one of the rooms" so we can not be bored doing this weird quest and get a sneak-peak for March

In New Super Mario Bros. U, Roy Koopa is on the crow’s nest of his airship at Rock-Candy Mines. He now has a giant cannon like a Bill Blaster instead of his magic wand to shoot Bullet Bills at Mario while it pushes him backward on the platform. The battle begins when Roy Koopa roars at Mario and the moving platforms appear so he can use them when he jumps around or he can shoot out Missile Bills when his cannon pushes him backward in the air that chase down Mario before they explode in time. He has to use the moving platforms to climb on them to defeat Roy Koopa without falling off of the crow’s nest of his airship while avoiding the Bullet Bills or the Missile Bills. He actually runs out of control if the player attacks him twice after spinning in his shell. The player defeats him by jumping on his head, shooting fireballs and throwing frozen Bullet Bills at him three times.

Roy Koopa is very strong and larger with yellow skin, a light pink bald head, magenta framed sunglasses, a feline-shaped mouth, a flattened nose, two vampire-like fangs. He has a purple shell with magenta ringed spikes, a four plated belly, muscular arms, black bracelets around his wrists with silver spikes and large thick padded feet.
Roy Koopa recieves a magic wand with a black orb used to send out purple fireballs or a giant cannon similar to a bazooka instead over one of his shoulders resembling a real Bill Blaster with a white skull-like detail on the center used to shoot Bullet Bills or Missile Bills at the players.
His airship is less larger than Morton’s airship. It has his visible head on the bow and two pairs on cannons on the sides with magenta lids, his purple spiked shell on the top with a tall propeller which has a smaller mast and one rear propeller on the stern but is has a lavender stern with one lantern on each side. Roy does not appear to be inside his airship but he is seen to be boarding on the crow’s nest with a large black platform similar to a giant platter made of iron to battle the players with his giant cannon which the moving platforms appear behind the sky.

It’s not 100% confirmed but for a while it’s been generally accepted in the fandom that the koopalings ages, from youngest to oldest, are the order in which you fight them in SMB3, which would make Roy the 3rd oldest after Lemmy and Ludwig. Personally haven’t a clue where this idea originated from, as I don’t think Nintendo’s ever officially mentioned their canonical ages. I will say I personally like it due to how funny the idea is of Ludwig being the only sibling older than Lemmy, despite him looking and acting younger than all of them.
