Does anyone find it ironic that during the cutscene in Neo Bowser Castle in Paper Jam, Larry says that he's fighting Mario on his own free will, then says you got it boss when Ludwig needs the dark Star points?
It's so wholesome how Ludwig gets mad after Larry dies. It's like that scene in Pizza Delivery where Squidward gets mad at the customer who yelled at SpongeBob. As much as Ludwig's siblings annoy him every day, he still cares about them all deep down.
Yeah, Ludwig is the cleverest and most evil, Morton’s the strongest, Roy’s the best, Lenny’s the cutest, Larry’s the worst, Iggy’s the craziest, and Wendy’s the weirdest.
Fun fact: despite Ludwig is often seen as the strongest Koopaling, and thus the last one to be fought, he covered such role only in half of his appearences, as in SMW and Superstar Saga he was the fourth, in Hotel Mario he was the fifth, in Yoshi's Safari he was the second, in Mario's Missing was the first (out of three, but still), in Paper Mario he was the third and in Paper Jam was the second along with Larry.
Yeah but besides Mario world, all of those weren’t mainline, and in all of those games anyways he had something special: In Mario world he was the only koopaling that doesn’t have another koopaling with the same moveset, In super star saga’s remake, he also had a unique moveset with his one shot attack, in color splash he was limited by the color of his wand, and he also had a really cool attribute because you need to fight his ship ( although in this game every boss has something special)
DhyTheChameleon thy were my fav. I also loved the personality of Ludwig in Color Splash, seen as I love classical music, and he was just funny and a well thought out guy. The battle was pretty easy tho, I ended up getting a perfect bonus 😂

Ok so I was like 8 when I first got this game. I watched the cartoons first though and when I saw Larry I realized he was Cheatsy. So I was really prepared to hear their voices but mostly Ludwig’s (Kooky’s) voice. Some of them kinda sounded accurate (except for Morton) so when I was in World 7 I was excited to hear Ludwig’s insane laughter. Ludwig von Koopa is medium with yellow skin, a large green head, dark blue hair styled after a real German musician, tiny eyes, blue thin short eyebrows, a feline shaped mouth that on the center below his nose has one pointed tooth on his upper jaw. He wear a blue shell with orange ringed spikes, a four plated belly, medium sized arms or legs with padded feet and each of his wrists had black cuffs with silver spikes. Lastly, he has a magic wand with a blue orb used to shoot blue fireballs at the players. Ludwig’s airship is medium sized than Larry’s, Wendy’s or Roy’s. It has his face on the front bow, his blue spiked shell on the top, a large tall propeller with a large mast, a dark green stern with two lanterns, a cannon on each side with vermilion orange lids, and green wing like pieces on the underside. Lastly over his battle is similar to Roy’s taking place in the crow’s nest of the airship is actually based similar to a massive pirate ship’s mast.
I gotta admit I think New Super Mario Bros. U is awesome. I get this feeling that I’m not really in the other games. Though, I haven’t reached Super Mario Bros. 3, I would actually like to experience it, as well as other 2D side scrollers you have appeared in. For example, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, New Super Mario Bros. 2, etc. Really big fan. You are my favorite koopaling. Literally I think that Larry is my second favorite.
BIRD CHIRPING SOUNDS: (New Super Mario Bros. 2) (Used when Roy hits a stone wall from charging and gets dizzy but along with Ludwig from being knocked out of the chain during the castle battle.)
My favorite battle had to be Color Splash because of the reveal of his ship seeming daunting, but is really flat at the back. It legitimately makes me chuckle every time.
Ludwig is definitely the smartest but can we take a minute to realise lemmy can RUN AROUND ON A BALL imagine the balance skills that has to go into that shiz
In the older games and cartoons I used to hate him but when they reintroduced him and gave him a more sinister voice and personality he started to be my two favorites of the 7 along with Iggy

In Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Ludwig von Koopa is the unlockable character in the Fencing (Individual) event. The required character is now Waluigi to recruit him in Story Mode.
Paper Mario Color Splash's fight is my favorite. The music and everything is soooo perfect to the character :D.
Ok so I was like 8 when I first got this game. I watched the cartoons first though and when I saw Larry I realized he was Cheatsy. So I was really prepared to hear their voices but mostly Ludwig’s (Kooky’s) voice. Some of them kinda sounded accurate (except for Morton) so when I was in World 7 I was excited to hear Ludwig’s insane laughter. But when I heard his very deep voice my mind went *”WHAT THE FUCK”* and I was forever surprised and in love with Ludwig

Ludwig von Koopa is medium with yellow skin, a large green head, dark blue hair styled after a real German musician, tiny eyes, blue thin short eyebrows, a feline shaped mouth that on the center below his nose has one pointed tooth on his upper jaw. He wear a blue shell with orange ringed spikes, a four plated belly, medium sized arms or legs with padded feet and each of his wrists had black cuffs with silver spikes. Lastly, he has a magic wand with a blue orb used to shoot blue fireballs at the players.
Ludwig’s airship is medium sized than Larry’s, Wendy’s or Roy’s. It has his face on the front bow, his blue spiked shell on the top, a large tall propeller with a large mast, a dark green stern with two lanterns, a cannon on each side with vermilion orange lids, and green wing like pieces on the underside. Lastly over his battle is similar to Roy’s taking place in the crow’s nest of the airship is actually based similar to a massive pirate ship’s mast.

I gotta admit I think New Super Mario Bros. U is awesome. I get this feeling that I’m not really in the other games. Though, I haven’t reached Super Mario Bros. 3, I would actually like to experience it, as well as other 2D side scrollers you have appeared in. For example, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, New Super Mario Bros. 2, etc. Really big fan. You are my favorite koopaling. Literally I think that Larry is my second favorite.
