i discovered chrome around 89. At the time I had never heard anything like them. Still haven't . Was stoked when they reformed in the late 90's, got to see them at the fillmore (i think?) around 98 or so. one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

discovered them about 6 years ago. when i figured out Damon Edge passed away i was like damn... But if Helios comes to town im all in. Their discography is so huge im still today diving in their music. any suggestions of your favorites would be awesome.

Bought Half Machine Lip Moves in 1979 with Unknown Pleasures and never looked back, and couldn't choose between the two.

Fantastic! I've been a fan since around 1980 and thought I'd heard everything from the golden Edge/Creed era but this came as a total surprise. Would have fitted nicely as a third tracks on Inworlds. Thanks for posting!

I find a lot of chrome quite bland and unfortunately this is rather ordinary, that is, standard bar chord progression, dull keyboard and crappy comic book lyrics-Hawkwind suffer from the same sci-fi metallic tendencies but were more rhythmically inventive and cab Voltaire way more electronically astute, sorry Helios

Reads like your looking for some of their more epic, energetic work. This is a quality bombed out tune, the whole song is like a slurr and stagger to find somewhere to pass out. It sounds like a slacker bedroom tune way ahead of its time. It sounds like their not even trying because they probably ain’t, and it doesn’t matter because they nailed the vibe.
