I saw these guys in Dec at a house show.. speechless talent. Lifeguard if you see this P L E A S E make a stop back in richmond- this band inspired me to make music again.
This band is crazy good. Especially for their age. I am an old Dischord records fan (Fugazi, Bluetip, Q and Not U, Faraquet) and these guys fit right in with that vibe.
damn there are a lot of bands doing this unwound-inspired noise rock sound but this sits way above the others. So melodic. Have listened 100 times already.

Looks like these kids have done their retro homework from music, to fashion, to hair, to music video productions.... it's an identical reproduction of 1981.
Reminds me of...early Devo or Flock of Seagulls.. but with a lot less enthusiasm. Presidents of the United States but with not so well tuned instruments. Nothing that could not be fixed with a couple band member changes and a new singer.
