I've always overlooked that band thinking they played pretentious and pompous music but that live performance completely changed my mind. Their sound is really one of a kind, reminding me of some kind of twisted jazzrock with a pop twist.
That song structure alone is nothing short of amazing and the overall groove of the song ranks among the most original beats I've ever heard.
Also those vocal lines are truly one of a kind.
I can definitely say that I'm a newborn Muse fan as of now.
Their music does sound big as hell, but they always liked to mess up, try "Muse funny moments" and you'll see that they can laugh, they're like kids :') I'm not even mentioning "Feeling Fucking Good" that's absolutely crazy. There's also a play-back version of Uprising on the Italian Rai Due, they switched of instruments and we can tell Matt is a terrible drummer. As for this KOC video, it IS something they would do, but actually it's fake. It's the true Wembley HAARP Tour video with another sound, that's all.
