    Hello! You seem tog know a bit about this scopes, My wont start... Its like it has crashed, Nothing happens ecept keypad lights up... When i try to charge the indicator led stays off but Keys light up... I have got it started a few times after several attemts and fiddling, Bit now it just wont start... Can i hardware reset it some how? I have mailed to Wanney whating for repply.

      Hi mate,
      Sorry to hear that, yeah could be both really. I heard incorrect software update can cause that too, a bit like Tesla isn't it, not the conventional car anymore, best to let them analyse it.
      The email address to contact their technical support is market@wanney.com, give them your scope serial # or shoot them a photo of that serial badge is a good start.
      Hopefully your one will be back in action very soon.

      Hi mate, no, it doesn't have laser range finder unit to display distance, which I find this is difficult for me. The view of the screen looks like watching TV, so unlike daylight scope I can tell how big or small of the animal to guess a rough distances, this one I can't. The only way is to use a range finding reticle which take a lot practice to use. Maybe in the future they will have laser ranging function in the next scope (I wish). Cheers.

    I just received my scope and I am not seeing any red glow or haze at all from the IR flashlight. Normal or not? Separate battery or not?

      Hi mate, check it with your phone camera, our eye have difficulty to see 940um IR light, nearly invisible wavelength to us and animals (thats why they pick 940um instead of 850um). Phone camera and normal camera I found can easily pick up that bright light, so use them to check, don't stare at it with your eye because even it's not visible to you it can still hurt your eye. Change the Sense level from 1-3 (which is the night vision mode) you should see the IR light go brighter and brighter, if not, then let's talk to the supplier as that's not right.

    I have a problem! When I switch on I don’t get an information at the top or bottom of the screen, or when I press the shift key to zero. What am I doing wrong?

      Hi Ian,
      From what you have described, I believe the firmware on your particular scope could be very old, they have been updated at least 3 times after the scope was initially released to the market and each update changes some setting, fix some bugs and unlock some new features. (The zeroing method was part of the updates and that I recall changed twice). So my suggestion is to go to Wanney's official website to download the latest scope firmware (V6.25) on their download page,(www.wanney.com/Download) follow the instruction and update that to your scope and see how you go, I believe that should fix your problem. They are some new features which I need to do a separate video down the track to describe them.
      If you not sure how to do firmware update to the scope or if the problem still persist after the update then best to contact there help desk email: market@wanney.com. They definitely know better.

      @@stillwindops2438 cheers, after hours of pushing buttons, found the solution! Switch on, then press the middle button for 10 seconds then push top left, that gets the zero screen

      Thanks, I thought d fixed it. But I haven’t. Switch on, ok. Press middle button Unit/OSD OK. But tried every button and get different pages but no zeroing at the bottom of the screen. Also how do I find what as the last update please.

      I did checked some infor with Wanney again. The firmware update 6.25 mostly are to do with fixing some bug associate with the connection of NVPLAY PRO APP. So regarding execute the "Zeroing" command through the scope, you still just press and hold the "Shift" button for 10 seconds (Back then was 8 seconds, just hold it until you see something popped down the bottom of your screen) then you should see the "Now zeroing" pops up and your are able to adjust your elevation and windage compensations. I haven't used that for a while since I was doing it that in the APP because that's more user friendly for me, especially the fact you can see what your current elevation and windage figure is (For example , that's my current zero, y is elevation, x is windage, say if I need to increase elevation, it will be y -, so in my case -8, so the
      new figure is y 8, x -12,) its easier for me to keep record and plus the app can save multiple ballistic data should I use different ammo for different occasions.
      And just another heads up, 6.26 is about to be released very soon, the new update includes a new feature where by press and hold up down left right keys together for a few seconds you can manually input the target range. So say if you zeroed at 100m, and you have a target at 300m, by input the target range manually, the center of your reticle is now set for 300m.

      Bingo!! It works! Got it zeroed this afternoon on an indoor 25m range, and it took some time. I had to do down,…………158 clicks other than that it was central.

      First things first,
      Make sure you download NVPLAYPRO app not NVPLAY app.
      Have a look at this video the first 5min about mirroing. m.ua-cam.com/video/7XyN_EeKVlY/v-deo.html
      If you followed these things and still doesn't work. I think: 1. you may need to update your scope software. 2. your phone might have some compatibility issue. In both case, send an email to market@wanney.com, give them your scope product/serial# ask for help and let them assist you. They might need to run some test on their end in order to resolve problem.
