I use the Turno app to clean airbnb properties. The hosts create cleaning checklists and take photos so that I can clean EXACTLY the way they want. I've been in this business for 4 years and have had very few complaints from clients!
I completely understand this. I look for if there is no little hairs, dust, if the window sills are wiped, is the bathroom cleaned properly etc. I'm on the hunt right now for a reliable cleaner that I can have on staff and they can have a paycheck. The prices of Airbnbs I also get it. It can't be too much and you have to pay the cleaner a decent amount. I want to do right by my cleaners. I will install crew app also because its impossible to have good communication if a cleaner can't learn a proper task manager app. I use slack it has literally everything from scheduling, you can upload pictures, you can chat with the cleaners at all times and you can add in tasks that is specifically assigned to a person. I tried Google tasks that was recommended but you can't add people to the tasks etc etc. It's frustrating to have to download another application just to do a simple thing as assigning or sharing a tasks to another person. I think I will check out the crew app or just keep slack since I've used it for years when running a nonprofit. It works perfectly. God bless guys 🇯🇲❤️🇯🇲❤️
Everyone isn’t a cleaner they just want the money yes I want to get money but at the same time I want my work to speak for itself and when I go in I want to give my best
Omg! Same problem but the owner came in twice and seen sooo many issues. I pulled the cleaner off and gave her a studio without having to do laundry and only takes less than an hour. Maybe a checklist would work for her.
Yes definitely! Yeah I included instructions & pictures but your absolutely right I think may be beneficial to even clean a property together as well or even a few. I did create a detailed video which I think will help to explain things like wiping down the soap dispensers & refilling. Making the beds, rolling towels etc. Thank you for watching
@@thehustlenetwork life of cleaning entrepreneurs! It's rewarding yet challenging but you'll find your way. Wish we were close so we could help each other☺️
Yh I would not give her another try. If it was simple things she forgot like vents or something then I’ll remind her but the toilet? Shower? Dirty sheets? That’s laziness
I was just in vacation at a pretty pricey resort house and had to ask to get relocated due to this type of clean. As a cleaning biz owner it was 🚩 after 🚩. You can’t gamble on cleaners it can cost the owners big money.
Yes! It definitely happens. That’s another reason I’m so leery about hiring for Airbnb Cleaning. I not only think about myself and needing help, but my hosts- taking in consideration of reviews, superhost status, keeping things up to par and 5 star. Thank goodness it was a small unit, I left 30 minutes before she said she was done. It definitely was a learning lesson. But also something I have to continue to do I order to see their skills, work ethic, etc I’m glad I was able to turn the place in time and correct her errors.
I cannot afford to hire anyone yet, because I am just starting, but when I am ready should I just do a test cleaning for the person that I hire to clean for me. And thank you for this because it helps me to be aware and stay alert😊
Yeah she needs to be let go..she just wanted the money she doesn’t care about being thorough. Those were obvious “mistakes” especially the toilet and tub.
I have 2 Airbnb listings, which led me to starting my own short-term rental cleaning company. So if anyone is in the Tucson AZ area, you can reach out to me. My team and I will clean and sanitize your space.
hello I need help please, in the TurnoverBnB application, when it says: supplies- provided by costumer or not provided by costumer, what exactly do you mean? Should I accept per project or per hour? what is : no checklist? please help!!!
I've accepted jobs where there were no supplies provided. I just increased the bid per job. I never do by hour but that's just my preference. I just decided when I clean I want to make at least $20-25/hr. Try to estimate how long will it take you how big or small is the place. I add mileage in the bid as well as if supplies are needed or not or if they allow pets or children also how many guests are allowed in the property and the duration of stays or if laundry is needed as well.
I did a airbnb from turnoverbnb and the lady did not pay me..she paid then asked for a return so I found turnoverbnb has terrible policy has one that client can get refund 5 days after or 2 weeks later. This is basically a scam because a client can asked for a return even if you did everything. But no one is going work for free. This client lied said she had products no mop broom .had swiffer but no wet cloths she bogusly made up a excuse sayin I put a bathroom mat where a towel supposed to go. Towels were there already any suggestions because this client is using turnoverbnb to get free cleans.
I don’t get paid through the platform. I think it’s always great to look at this situation as “what did I learn from this situation “ You could send her a Notice of intent to file a lien I would highly recommend getting payed outside of the platform Get basic info such as name, email, etc Discuss prior how you want to get paid and when
Well, I like to call them back and let them know I completed a thorough walkthrough. Let them know what I found, what wasn’t cleaned, things I noticed. I like to have great communication. If they told me they where experienced, I’d like to let them know things that would have or should have been done. Thanks for watching 😁

I clean my own airbnb and have to double and triple check sometimes.
Yea definitely! Even after I clean I’ll go back and check after putting my supplies away for anything - hair , crumb anything
Same lol
Thanks hun, keep up the great work!

How i can get your Ebook.im starting only have one bnb
She definitely is not an Airbnb cleaner, she probably a house cleaner but still that’s not a good job done.
Yeah she needs to be let go..she just wanted the money she doesn’t care about being thorough. Those were obvious “mistakes” especially the toilet and tub.
Agreed!

Yeah I’ve never done a Airbnb cleaning by the hour either.
That is the reason why you must be very specific with the staff you hire and give them a task list.
Yes, you’re absolutely right. When I first began I didn’t have this. Now I have it, not always looked at, but helpful

I went through the same issues hiring people
Would a checklist of expectations help your staff?
Yes something I have implemented, thank goodness as every property is different

So if she didn't even make an effort why are you going to call back for?

Smh I don't get rupping people off and you don't get any more jobs. People must not really need money.
Yeah, it puzzles me.
