Absolutely! A day porter would be when the employees are still their and your cleaning throughout the day. But yes, you can definitely clean after hours. That’s what we do most of the time.
You know, lots of people ask me this. This is something I truly haven’t mastered yet. I’ve asked my mentors and they always continue to say “ it depends, ask yourself how long will it take for you to clean it” It’s tuff for someone who’s never cleaned the office space before. However I’ve seen and asked in many cleaning groups. Some day $45-50 hr but give your client a flate rate. So I always go in looking and comparing my other cleans. Small offices is what we clean so doesn’t take much time. However I like to think “if I pay someone else to do it” so I double the amount
I would highly suggest being apart of cleaning groups on Facebook. Ask the groups, give many details as possible. Ask, how do you charge for commercial. You’ll learn lots of great & valuable info
I just found your video and thank you so much for dropping so many amazing gems. I am so grateful to have found your channel and thank you so much for this advice.
As for insurance am in a pinch with finding a reasonable one. For insurance bond I use surety direct, not too expensive, but I was watching another video earlier and the gentleman was saying he paid $80 a month for insurance and $250 a year for bond. So now am fishing as he didn't say the name of the company that he uses, I ask in the comments, but waiting on an answer, as well as researching elsewhere so I can switch.
Good job!!! hopefully you’ve been able to get more commercial contracts since you got this one. Also don’t forget to send your W9 their CPA will need it eventually.
@thehustlenetwork hey awesome video and a lot of great tips! Quick question I’m recently diving into the cleaning business, how do you go about finding commercial clients? Also what was the name of the contract you used from rocket lawyer. Can I ask how you’ve done since making this video? I’m nervous as heck to put stress on the family and risk the stability over found in my current occupation. Not gonna let it deter me but it’s been a stumbling block for a bit. Any encouraging advice is welcome. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Max! It’s been honestly such a journey. I absolutely love it. There are times things pop up or things don’t go as planned. I may take a week or three off to mentally take a break and reset my goals. But the journey is honestly something I love. Whether winning big or taking losses. It’s all been a learning experience. One thing I have to say is being consistent and persistent with growing and finds more clients and customers. No customers no business. I know if all goes bad, if I still got customers I can get it all over again. I’m a mom, still struggle with fining help with my kids. My husband’s incarcerated. I know they depend on me. THAT is what drives me! You got this. Write down your goals. Write down your daily tasks to get there. Execute. It may not always go as plan but continue to work the plan. Sometimes you have to ask yourself. Could I be doing this instead of this in order to get clientele? Could I be making phone calls, could I be reaching out to people on Facebook. My #1 tip is “get the customers” focus on what you can do not what you can’t do because you don’t have this or that.
I pray you put God first, then family and then business. I am so glad I watched your video because you helped me dispel my fear of commercial contracts. Bless you.

Hiscox is a great insurance for small business….very reasonable
Your are absolutely right, that's my current insurance provider now!
Insurance
They are all the same
It’s run by your state
You have to give them an estimate of your payroll and you have to have an insurance covered for 2 million dollar at least for liability
At the end of the year it comes the truth, an audit comes from the insurance provider
That’s where you really know that all insurance companies are the same
You better save money every month, if not, you are in big s*%#, you may own them or you get a check back from them
If you think that your payroll is going to be around 10k every month, double that when they ask you for the estimate on your payroll, it’s peace of mind and no surprises at the end of the audit
Dropping gems here
Workers Comp
The most important thing here is your employees, training and follow the rules accordingly to the insurance that you are paying
Are you going to clean office windows, that increases your insurance
Are you going to use step ladder
Are you going to use chemicals, the same
All this increases your insurance or helps to keep it low
Your company falls on certain state code according to that
It’s a percentage every code and it depends on the state that you working on
That code increases your workers comp insurance or decreases it
That’s why training is key
You have to make a plan accordingly and stick to it
If, you have an accident and you were using an step ladder, or try to reach over your waist line to clean a bathroom glass and you fell, or one of your employees, you are in deep trouble if you didn’t say or trained your employees or ordered them to not try to reach over waist line
If he or she uses an step ladder without your knowledge, fire him right there in the spot
He’s a liability to your company and to your $$$$
Dropping some gems here guys
You better listen!

Thank you! Will do!
Thank you for your honesty and I can relate with you! I appreciate this video!
Thank Lorraine!! 😊
Are you able to clean the offices after hours in the evenings? I want to clean but I prefer to clean alone versus with people around working.
Absolutely!
A day porter would be when the employees are still their and your cleaning throughout the day.
But yes, you can definitely clean after hours. That’s what we do most of the time.
Do you have a video on how to quote commercial buildings ? I just started my company but I have no clue what to charge buildings
You know, lots of people ask me this. This is something I truly haven’t mastered yet. I’ve asked my mentors and they always continue to say “ it depends, ask yourself how long will it take for you to clean it”
It’s tuff for someone who’s never cleaned the office space before.
Subscribed thank you for this free info.
Absolutely ! Thanks for watching Jose

Mylo is a good insurance
Good job!!! hopefully you’ve been able to get more commercial contracts since you got this one. Also don’t forget to send your W9 their CPA will need it eventually.
Thanks Marcus! Oh yeah, W9 is always sent prior to starting

@thehustlenetwork hey awesome video and a lot of great tips! Quick question I’m recently diving into the cleaning business, how do you go about finding commercial clients? Also what was the name of the contract you used from rocket lawyer. I looked it up but they had so many different ones 😅.. i hope you continue winning in this business.. those who do the leg work deserve to get rewarded!
Hi Sai!
I actually was found in Google. No special cold calling, flyers were sent out. Just simply having an online presence.
I would definitely consider cold calling, sending in a flyer that’s sets you apart.
I would consider have them try your services out for a few weeks for FREE
Rocket Lawyer I put in “service agreement “
Yes definitely wining and hope to continue this journey!
@@thehustlenetwork thanks for the tips!! Appreciate it.. I’m just now seeing this comment I didn’t even get a notification from you tube.. weird lol🧐

@@thehustlenetwork have to send a formal quote to the property manager for 6 types of units (studio - 4b3ba) and common areas in 7 buildings. 👀 I’m so overwhelmed haha. I asked for 24 hours to send my offer and she was totally fine with that. I’m gonna spend all day tomorrow working on it.
Excellent video. Do you have a website or just Google my business page.
Yes! Both actually

hey question, which CRM software do you used for you cleaning company? Free methods. also do we really need a CRM?
Hi! I actually use Jobber, I have a link in one of my recent videos.
I don't think you need it if your using contractors, but for me personally, I do
Can I ask how you’ve done since making this video?
@@thehustlenetwork thank you very much and god bless you and your family’s journey, Amen!
You as well!
It’s so much said here, can we talk??
Your gorgeous thanks for the insight
